I honestly wouldn't have any of them . We shouldn't be going back the way with KT. And taylor most times is a liabilty. If the ball goes to them when other team attack im always on edge .

Surely there's no chance he's signing a new deal if KT returns.. he's done pretty much everything here so if a good offer from abroad comes in he'll be off more than likely

Speaking of possible arrivals to the blue home, on Friday we learned in Maksimir that Celtic's left-back Greg Taylor, a 27-year-old with 14 appearances for the Scottish national football team, wants to move to the Maksimir team, that he is pressuring his club to let him go to Zagreb and under the coaching baton of Fabio Cannavaro, so that transfer could ultimately be made.

However, nothing can be said with certainty yet, so we need to wait for the outcome of the story surrounding the experienced defender, who is currently worth 7 million euros according to Transfermarkt.

7 million to get him 6 months early with Tierney on a loan then free would be typical lawell :56:

Apparently told the club he wants to leave. Valle has to start every game now (until KT arrives)

If true. Bench him. Valle starts. Get youth in as back up. Prioritise getting KT in this window. Sell GT for whatever fee we can get for him this month.

If that's true, thank you for all your efforts and he's been a good servant. But on your way lad.

With as little to no disrespect at all.
If KT is in the door, we have our LB option for next season now, there isn't space for Taylor to be bench warmer at the wage he would rightly deserve.

He would do better down south if he can make the move.

Taylor has been a decent player for us over the years, but he's always failed to learn and improve on basic mistakes that he always makes. His cup final performance for me was the last straw. Always a weak link in Europe as well. Happy to see him leave this month especially when his contract is up at the end of the season. Hopefully we can move him on for a small fee and have Tierney/Valle as our options for the rest of the season.

I think it's been clear last 12 months he's ready to leave.
Knocked back every contract offer over that time.
I think he's known KT was on way.

He'll end up in English championship or lower EPL and I wish him well, always given his all for us.

I doubt Valle will be staying either.

I don't see the point in punishing a player because they want to make sure they get first team football.

Fair play to him for wanting the move, wish him well.

But the time has come for a new cycle at Celtic, not just with Greg.

Good servant, but enjoy Croatia mate.

I'll be looking forward to seeing a true world class player coming in as your replacement!

I think thats fair. Taylor has been a good player for us for a decent number of seasons. For sure not a top level player but equally he has overall had a Celtic career that he can be proud of to look back upon. For whatever reason it is clear he has decided to move on and good luck to him. He has also been one of the important leaders in our dressing room for a few seasons now and clearly the togetherness and mental strength of the team has been a key component of our success so that will be a loss. I have been fortunate to spend time with Taylor and I can say he is a really down to earth class act as a person so I wish him nothing but the best when he does as it seems he will leave next summer. But in the meantime I don't see any reason to pick Valle and or Taylor over the other. Whoever is playing the best should play from here on in as things stand.

Reasoning of wanting to work with cannavaro is horseshit tbh rodgers is an elite manager compared to the likes of cannavaro

Good playing career but untested as a manager

I don't think Taylor will leave, because he is very pally with Tierney.
Chances are, he's calculated he will still get sufficient game time shared with Tierney.
The only way is down when you leave Celtic, and he knows that.

Tbf that would be a good pair to switch between…but I think Taylor’s time is done here now. Give frame or Anderson their chance. Or buy some young prospect in
