People will of course point to their right to criticise.

I wonder how they would feel though in similar circumstances in their own profession? ..to be leading their company to unending constant success..massively more successful, and vastly more wealthy than all of their rivals. To be the most successful company in the country in their field. With no downturn and no sign of it stopping.

Then having a bad day at work and everyone turning on them immediately

I was saying the same to someone earlier. It was the only reason I could come up with as to how bad we were for the full game, but I don't know. A few games against them we have played like that for periods of it so I'm not sure either way tbh.

We didn't play well today and lost the game. They played better than we did and won the game. It's not that hard to fadom out and every football club in the entire world will play badly and lose at some point. It is inevitably going to happen. It can't not happen.

Of course it does, it was just the timing of it more than anything. We seemed to be coming in to a bit of form going into this game and then for the entire team to be so far off it seemed odd.

    * shat it! From the first minute. It was genuinely one of the worst performances I’ve seen from a Celtic captain at Ibrox. Hiding behind * Bajrami. Disgusting.

It's not the result. It's the performance. We didn't lay a glove on them and if they'd won 4-0 or 5-0, no one would be saying they were lucky. That performance is difficult to accept.

Still can't believe how much he shat it and hid..

That second half as a captain at theirs is as gutless as you'll ever see. Just completely and willingly out the game, no involed in anything whatsoever..

Embarrassing from a Celtic captain. Jogging around hiding at the back of Bajrami :42:

There was a shot of McGregor looking passive, with Kapser shouting at others in the background. i get that it's not his style but at least we have other leaders in the team. Same goes for AJ when he's on form.

I wouldn't be against looking for some experience like a Mooy signing to give the mf a hand.

Are you deliberately missing the point?

It’s not a “bad day at work”. It’s one of a number of poor performances this season and a cowardly performance from the captain of the club.

People aren’t turning on him for * sake. They’re criticising him after a stinking performance.

Stop being so precious about it.

Been saying we need more muscle in the middle of the pitch for * years.

Every one of them are too lightweight. Especially McGregor.

McGregor really infuriated me today, got his marker facing up to our ball carrier yet making no attempt to create space or shake his marker and create angles to receive the ball, just followed his marker around pointing his arms at where he thought the ball should be played. He done the same in the cup final as well at times. He isn't physical enough to be playing cdm.

He's not a DM, it's that simple, been saying it since Ange came in and put him in that 6 role, it works against most teams in our league but has been exposed in europe and when domestic teams hit their stride, if we're playing a middle three with one sitting deep, he should be one of the front two.

If he stays in that position his drop off is going to be faster than Brown's.

The amount of times he lost the bill is what infuriated me today.

He had one good moment of play where he dribbled out of danger, and that's all he done right.

I think he's been better than a lot of this thread has been stating, but he was abysmal today, no two ways about it.

One of my favourite Celtic players ever but there’s something not there this year.

He was trying to get himself going and his legs weren’t doing it.

60-70 games every year takes its toll.

The way it works with him in midfield needs the other midfielders to support and not leave him isolated, and make the movement for the passes. When it’s not then he’s stranded

This may be correct but they've outplayed us for a good while especially not at CP... but not as much as today.
