Would play valle against st Johnstone but Taylor must play against rangers.

rangers will try to block balls going to McGregor again and Taylor is probably the best full back we have at dropping into midfield so more and likely we need someone extra dropping in there so he will be the best out ball for our centre halves

I know he’s not everyone’s ideal player but he is pivotal to the way we play especially when McGregor can’t get on the ball

The Huns will target him and interceptions from his sideways passes to McGregor, which is normally so vital in our build up, so we've got to think around that, either get him to stay wider and pass forward more or potentially play Valle

I give him credit where it's due - it's not like he's been abysmal his whole time here and he's definitely had some great performances over the years. He was pretty consistent in Ange's era (particularly in 22/23).

Completely disagree with your summary of him though. I think 6/10 is a fair rating. We need better and he's by far the weakest "starter" in our team. I highly doubt he becomes a pivotal player for another team at a good level.

Bottom end Championship/League One at best.

Average at best and 6/10 isn’t giving him the credit he’s due. It’s absolute nonsense. He’s been a lot better than that. The weakest starter in our team is Scales.

    This. Nutshell.

He never shouldve been anything more than the back LB imo. Cover for an injured or rested LB, who can do a decent job domestically a la Ralston.

Again, for the cheap seats, its not like he's been an unmitigated disaster. Hes given mire than handful of great performances, and works his socks off.
But hes a * liability. Simple as that. Woefully exposed as a defender against any side with a semblance of quality.

Much like im sick of seeing Scales drag players down in the box because he * up a touch, im sick of watching Taylor make an * of bread and butter football.

I'd be happy to see the back of both of them.
