Don’t think there’s any doubt about it. Dominant the last 20 odd years , with a few decent European campaigns thrown in.

It has been great since the MON era, born a Celtic fan in the late 1990s , you only know success

    Long may it continue.

Sadly I didn't miss those years but that just makes me love every minute and every success we are having now all the more.

To me, 97-98 to like 07-08 was pretty insane because it came after a really dour period and it felt like the sky was the limit. We had insane squads, great managers, etc. We weren't as dominant but the league felt stronger and we felt like a bigger club on the world stage.

Could just be rose-tinted specs mind cos I was a teenager and so everything probably seemed a bit more exciting. I can't deny we're more dominant domestically now but the Rangers are * and the rest of the league is more of a joke than ever.

Will likely appreciate the full scale of it in years to come.

Ridiculous amount of success that will stand test of time similarly to what the lions done domestically at least.

Still think it goes under appreciated that we are literally watching James Forrest make history in front of our very eyes although the ironic thing is Bobby Lennox record has stood for nearly 40 years, within a year or 2 of Forrest actually retiring, McGregor will beat his record.

You are 100% correct. The players we signed in that era complimented an already brimming team of internationals. There were duds also of course. Those teams probably underachieved just a little, particularly in Europe, but the league was way more competitive and the Huns were neck deep in financial cheating. MON gambled all his transfer budget on Sutton, Lennon, Hartson and Thompson - thankfully all worked out beautifully but such transfers are never a guarantee. Lennon was a pivotal player who was able to win the physical battle and let the others play. Great times and set the seeds for the next 20 years…that’s incredible to think about.

In my 30s and it’s never been anywhere near as good as this. In my teens i honestly never thought we’d overtake them on trophies in my lifetime. This season has gone well beyond my expectations so far, the football is great to watch, we’re doing well in Europe again for the first time since 2012, strolling the league and on course for another treble.

The last 12 years have been incredible to say the least.

Bar one freak season in 2020/2021, it's been near perfection domestically, thinking back to Deila's time here, which was considered poor, yet we still won the title under his 2 seasons and he was robbed of a treble as well.

Europe has been poor, no doubt about that, but domestically it's been near perfection, and bar a collapse from ourselves, it'll likely continue into the near future.

The Invincible Treble will be hard to beat, followed by another three. Mind blowing stuff.

We arent at the level as MON team.

At a push 3 players now would make that team.
Rangers were a far better team than Sevco.

We are getting stronger - Sevco is no challenge to us over the course of the league. I think this team would give the cheating * Rangers a good run over the course of a season and potentially win it, But we are still a couple steps behind MON team

We could win every trophy from here to eternity and it still wouldn't trump watching Henrik and Martin O'Neill's debut season inc THAT 6-2 game for me.

Totally agree! My old firm experiences where that that even when we were 3-0 up after 10mins we would still lose. Cause they were so dominant before that! But MON instilled a sort of strut we still carry till today

Schmeichel would obviously easily get into that team. I'd probably say CCV too. Genuinely don't think anyone else makes it.

Yep, I remember in my seat at that time when I had a season book for many years, NW upper, Block 445, Row BB, Seat 26, that when we raced to a 3-0 lead that it did not calm my nerves much, then when they pulled one back for us to go 3-1 up at HT, I feared the worst.

We then got the next goal after HT, which calmed the nerves a bit more.

This is the first time that our club has won more titles than the other mobs combined effort, so yeah, these are special times.

    Long may it last.

For all those who lived through the 80s/90s, apart from the glorious 88, travelling on boats from Belfast, then buses to a half empty Celtic park, catching pneumonia loosing to Hearts on a Sunday evening in winter with just the hoops on, another story, , humped by * teams and getting abuse from huns every Day in Work, it has been worth every second to live these last 24 years.
All the bile and anger of a penalty denied is fantastic, enjoy every second of their pain and long may it continue.
