Totally agree with you about not having a mid week game after this weekend final. I think we would have really struggled mentally and physically if we did. I remember us after Ange's first League Cup win drawing 0-0 away to St Mirren in the mid week after beating Hibernian in the League Cup Final. Hopefully the few extra days rest and then to prepare has us ready for Dundee United.

Just reckon it will be a tight game, they will park bus bigtime, not a hope in * we will score goals similar to our second and 3rd an Sunday last. So Iadh to start for me

Good, absolutely hate the winter break and if the weathers bad enough the games get postponed anyway!

If we're a couple of goals up in this one, I'd bring Palma on. A bit more game time could help us sell him.

I would sit Johnston out of this one and play Ralston just to give him a chance to recover. I would actually not play him until St Johnstone on the 28th. Gives him a game to get in the swing of it before Ibrox and if he doesn’t make it gives Ralston game time to get up to speed.

I would be tempted to play one of Yang or Forrest on the left and give Maeda a rest, then bring him back in and give Kuhn either Motherwell or St Johnstone at home off.

Idah would start for me and rotate the striker role up to Ibrox.

McCowan would come in for Hatate as he looked done on Sunday and Bernardo and McGregor would play.

Valle would come in at left back.

    So I would go

    Schmiechel
    Ralston
    CCV
    Trusty
    Valle
    McGregor
    Bernardo
    McCowan
    Yang/Forrest
    Kuhn
    Idah
