We won that day because we had better squad depth bringing on idah and Bernardo and even be argued that we have far more squad depth now with mcowan and Valle aswell …. Was evident tonight for rangers against spurs they brought on Barron who was caught out and they had to bring on a youngster

Not getting worries cause the filth have improved a bit, the game last night was littered with poor technical ability and as per in europe, the vermin they took advantage of it. They will not get the same opportunity from us on Sunday. They will likely have a wee spring in their step for the first 15/20 mins but we will show them we are no tin pot mid epl/europa league level side and show the class of a proper CL team and serial winners

They'll be perceived as the inform team now.

They still waste a huge amount of chances and can't defend St the back.

Imagine we beat them on Sunday, the deflation will be something.

Would be nice to play them off the park but even a scrappy 1-0 with a controversial goal would be hilarious for the fallout.

It’s 50/50 for me this game. Hampden games seemsl to have been fairly tight last while.

We are a bit meh atm and they have come into good form last few games.

If we can get back to where we were a couple of weeks ago that’ll give us our best chance.

We turn up and play how we can, we win.. simple as that..

They need to change their setup to combat us, that's the difference.. we just need to play our own high intensity, High quality game..

They are abysmal at the back, our midfield should boss them and our defence should be able to deal with their attack..

Wasn't sure whether to start Engels but I've went for McCowan instead:

For me despite that also being a cup final, I felt our team looked like they had put everything into winning the league and keeping that run going and the cup was almost viewed as a bonus. I know it wouldn’t have been but there was a bit of a game too far feeling to it and I think that showed in our performance.

Where our form has dipped and theirs has picked up we are mid season, we need to go into this properly fired up, use all these noises about they are back as fuel to go and show again there is a gap between the two.

I don’t think there will be a big scoreline but if we turn up we should have enough.

It will be interesting to see how they do post Euro fixture as they have been garbage in these fixtures all year.

They will have the likes of Barron, Hagi and Danilo who all only played a little or not at all last night. They have very little options in terms of their back 4 as apart from Sterling coming in at right back the rest played most of the game last night and it was a frantic chaos ball type game last night.

What I think we need to be better at is playing out from the back like we were earlier in the season. We do that well then I could see our front 3 getting a lot of joy out of their back line.

Tav might have a decent performance against some obscure Europa league mob but Daizen is gonna do Daizen thangs on Sunday

Totally. Our players will not sit off them as much as the Spurs did last night and although Igamine looked half decent, it was mainly because he was allowed space and time on the ball. My main concern is our LB position (again). They will no doubt target that area as everyone and their granny knows that's our weakest area. So, sort that out, deal with their chaos ball and match their mad mental first 15-20 mins and there is only one winner.

I'm a fan of Valle, I'll happily admit.
But at the same time I think Taylor is steady and has the experience for this game.
That also said, I'd still actually go for Valle as a bit of a change for them.

They'll expect Taylor and they'll now start to either drop Tav for this game, or give him extra support. Specially if they are playing with additional attackers to try over load that side.

I'd give them something else to think about there.

Alternatively, leave it as Taylor and let them target that side, will leave Kuhn and AJ with acres of space.

Great to see we've sorted the LB problem for next year.

Looking forward to this now. The last few weeks there would have been excuses left right and centre from them. Now though, after going top of the league last week and being fast tracked through to the Europa League Final after hammering Euro Giants last nightz there will be no excuse.

For us we need to up our game. Results have been good but performances have dipped and everyone knows this will be a tougher match than it might have been.

I'd be considering Engels to start over Hatate, they've both been really inconsistent but I can't believe how loose with the ball Hatate was the other night even just making simple passes, like the basics had completely deserted him.
