Saying on radio now celtic might need to take something against villa even if we beat yb .as Stuttgart and psg could push us into 26th spot .

 

But Stuttgart and PSG play eachother in the last game. So they will take points away from eachother.

We absolutely need to go out and take the game to YB. I get the playing smart idea in Europe but there's no real excuses against them, don't want to be playing it about at the back at 0-0 on 88 mins hoping that's enough.

 

Should've done the business last night to stop any worrying.

Young Boys should've been a game to put some real gloss on our campaign and potentially get into the seeded spots.

Still disappointed with last night even after having a day to process it.

 

Stuttgart and PSG are currently 2 points behind us. If we beat YB, we go up to 12 points. So they would need to both win their fifth games to remain 2 points behind us. Say that did happen, Stuttgart are likely to do that as they play Slovak Bratislava. PSG have a tough game at home to Manchester City, so that’s not a given. Say they do both win though, they play each other in their final game and they can’t both win that. So, aye. Utter pish.

 

Milan score a late winner against Red star which isn’t good for us.

Red Star would not have been awarded that goal.

 

9 points will be enough to qualify, I think.

We are currently sitting in 21st place, so 4 places inside the play offs. Realistically, there is only 4 teams who can catch us outside of the bottom 12. PSG, Stuttgart, Shakhtar and Sparta Prague. All 4 would need to win their remaining games to knock us out and we would need to lose both.

Sparta Prague are at home to Inter and away to Leverkusen. No getting 6 points there, let’s be honest.

Shakhtar are at home to Brest and away to Dortmund. They’re no getting 6 points either.

Of course, there are a few teams sitting on 3 points who still have a mathematical chance but even looking at their games, I think we are safe on 9 points. Red Star are the only ones who have a decent run in. He to PSV and away to Young Boys:

 

We shouldn't need to be looking at other results, that's the consequence of last 2 games and our own very poor performances.
We'll be fine (I think!) but it's a position we never should have been in.

 

No idea why people didn’t want Milan to win. It makes qualifying for us so much easier. Draw pretty much guarantees it.
