Same team that destroyed Aberdeen in the semi final for me.

We need to be so much better than we’ve been recently.

We can take the * and say they are * but so are Aberdeen, Hibs, and Zagreb and we’ve struggled at various points in those games.

Need a huge performance from our midfield who have all been terrible lately, with the exception of maybe Bernardo and McCowan who can’t play.

It'll be interesting to see how they set up, I feel like them going 2 up top, with Hagi and Cerny out wide, is suicidal against our press, but they can't exactly go back to 1 up top after their recent form.

As much as I'd love us to pump them, I'll always take any sort of win against them, especially in a cup final, we're enough points ahead in the league that losing this won't suddenly shift the momentum, but it would give them a lot of extra incentive over the coming season.

I think we'll win, but I don't think it'll be a pumping, the midfield battle will be vital, but if they go two in midfield with Raskin + Diomande/Barron, I think they'll get swamped. Tavernier guaranteed to start again too, so perfect time for Maeda to pick up his form.

2-0 us, I'd go with the exact same team as yesterday.

Is this where we overtake their trophy haul? Or has that already passed? Lost count!

I get the feeling this will be a bit of a scrap. We've struggled a bit recently against teams who have a bit more bite than us in the midfield and we have a few players who clearly don't like aggression. McCowan is the big exception but he is cup tied. And we've had some very inconsistent performances from the likes of Maeda, Hatate, Kyogo, Idah, and Engels.

That all said, we're the better team by quite a bit. I think if we play to our best we will win. If we score first we win. Even if we play OK and don't get unlucky we should win. But I expect it to be closer and a bit nervier than many on here are expecting.

    2 1 Celtic.

Couple of weeks ago I'd fancy us to hammer them. However a dip in our performances and then gaining a bit of confidence after going top of the league suggests it might be a closer game.

Reality is if we are anywhere close to our best we will win.

Rangers will only win this game if they get a nice dodgy game-changing decision.

Celtic will have enough outside of that.

    Celtic 2-0 Rangers

I think they will go 4-1-4-1

    Butland
    Tavernier Souttar Balogun Jefte
    Raskin
    Cerny Barron Hagi Igamane
    Danilo

The midfield battle will decide the game I feel.

I would have prefered to have had McCowan available for this game, like many are quoting on this thread, and it just goes to show you how important a player he has become for us at only a bargain price of £1M too.

I'm not confident that an off form Hatate will be able to lift his game in time for Sunday, and when he is off, he really is off and a man down. So I would opt instead for Engels, who at least will run and run, and not down tools, and give the Huns a different proposition to deal with.

We will win this. Even if they go in front we still have the team and mentality to score comeback and win

We'll win, they'll be * after facing Spurs. Two days extra rest is quite significant in football, added to the fact we're better everywhere across the pitch.

100% this... We haven't lost a match to anyone, in any competitions since Dortmund on 1st October, despite playing most games(16 for Celtic)/international matches(4 for Scotland) every 3 days or so... Not sure how people expect us to be at peak performance with that many games in perpetual succession...

I'm not expecting it to be a canter - although it absolutely could be if we score early and they * the bed, but if we just turn up and grind it out and the refs don't screw up then I think we're still stronger than them and we'll take them by a goal or 2...
