He's frustrated me recently and with Mccowans stats previously I thought it was harsh for him to be dropped, but can't argue with that finish.

Poor at times early on but picked it up as the game went on. Ended up scoring a worldy and led the celebrations with a big smile on his coupon. Glorious.

Hopefully this is the turn around for him now

Been critical of him last few weeks but he was better in the second half

Brugge aside where he was poor he’s been excellent recently. Absolutely brilliant finish tonight. Was always going to take a moment of magic like that to win it.

Brugge was a weird one as he was constantly involved , on the ball in the final third , on the end of chances and had a fair few shots but just got everything wrong in the final moment . Just a nightmare in the finer details . But he is always involved , and when he is on the pitch a moment of magic is always possible. Bit like Maeda in that if he had that extra bit of quality/consistency he wouldn't be here. Blows hot and cold but his contribution overall since he arrived can't be disputed. Was an important January window that one that has served us well for a long time since.

Aye he can never be accused of hiding even when he’s not playing well. He’s the type of player who’ll probably either be brilliant or completely *, but when he comes up with moments like that tonight I guess we just have to accept it.

Genuinely I’m not sure there’s anyone else in the team who scores that. To take it on his chest and cut across it on his weak foot all in one movement like he did is unbelievable technique.
