I wouldn't say it is that jammy, their press put us under pressure and forced us into a series of dodgy passes that led to a mistake. I feel like any team of a similar quality to us that does their homework will figure out that they can force a mistake out of our defence

Zagreb lost today to Hajduk Split. Think the game against them is flip of a coin to be honest, but we certainly shouldn’t be going them with any fear.

Need 4 out of 9 to get play offs but possibly 9 out of 9 might get straight in to Last 16

I think 2 out of 9 should be enough to seal a playoff spot.
6 out of the next 6 is not beyond the realm of possibility.
How great would it be going into the Villa game knowing that a win could get us into the top 8?!

CCV is so rock solid though, that's a once in a season mindfart from him. Definitely a little bit jammy

Pity Villa is at the end of January, now would be a great time to have them, would really fancy our chances, Brendan has a very good overall record at Villa Park btw

Gotta hope they don't get their act back together by the end of Jan

Being fair it also seems to be a good time to be playing Dinamo Zagreb as they appear to be struggling too. We will obviously have to turn up and play more like Leipzig than we did against Brugge but it is a realistic chance of getting a result if we can.

If we can get that what a start to the season it will have been going into a cup final.

Fined by UEFA following the home game against RB Leipzig:
    Blocking of public passageways €12,000
Invasion of the field of play €15,000
Warning about late kick off in second half.
We’ve been fined €200,000 in the past 2 seasons.
I hope the wee * * who ran on to the pitch is banned.

Not sure if possible but should look into, at least threatening, to sue/recover costs from the wee * as if that’s possible that would help stop, you’d think, the next wee roaster from thinking to do it.
No sparklers fine is a positive but blocking the passageway isnt a good thing ffs.

Probably impractical, especially if a juvenile.. best just to ban.

Probably but its not always been juveniles.
I’d assume it was a life ban automatically JC.

I'd say a life ban for an *, fair enough.. well in those circumstances European night, solo invasion etc.. I wouldn’t ban anyone under 18 for life tbh..

Everyone knows its not acceptable/shouldn’t be done. And we cant be discriminating based on age JC… :86: anyway they want to be treated like adults .. so we can show them that respect..

Opta computer says we're going to finish 20th and play Atlético Madrid in the playoff round.

It could be even better as Lille, Brest and Monaco have the potential to finish around Atlético.

Win a week on Tuesday and that will change again likely.

Two wins would probably give us a big chance of finishing between 9-16th on 14th points given 15 points has a decent chance of making top 8. Is it not between 65-70% chance for 15 and 85%+ for 16 points and 17 almost guaranteed?
