Right, where's everyone off to next year?

Got two trips booked so far.

I'm going back to Japan in February, but going to Hokkaido this time. Going to Sapporo for the snow festival, then flying up to Wakkanai and Cape Soya. Then going to Asahikawa, then Otaru, then back to Sapporo.

For September I've booked a flight to Santiago, Chile. Going to do about a week in Chile, then go to Ushuaia and Buenos Aires in Argentina, then across to Montevideo in Uruguay, then finally a few days in Rio De Janeiro to finish the trip.

Anyone been to any of these places and have recommendations, gies a shout. :50:

Zagreb next week for the match anyway & have a few mates who live in Vukovar that are trekking up the craic.

Villa away in January for sure.

Been to the Balkans every summer for 6 years so thinking of mixing it up a bit, Vietnam is really appealing!

Would love to go back to Brasil too.

Friend was in Vietnam earlier this year as his trips to Mexico were getting just as expensive as here. Loved the place and the people and pretty much the best value for money he's seen in years.

I'd like to do a weekend with my partner, without our son. We've done a couple of nights in a hotel (usually presents to each other) but not a full weekend. Maybe I'm being selfish.

I think we go back to the farm for the 4th year running. My son also wants to see Scotland as his (my) family are from there. His mum (who feels no real sort of national identity) is happy with him saying he's Scottish.

I hit 40 last month but think it will be Ibiza again in July, not San An, haven't stayed their in over 10 years. Maybe Santa Eulalia this time. Only thing booked so far is down Liverpool for Bruce Springsteen in June for Mrs birthday.

Not at all. It's important to spend quality time together as a couple that doesn't involve children.

Going to cavan this year ( at long last) to explore where my papa came from. I know I've still got loads of relations there. Papas family were from cornakill. Great gran was from mullagh . So that's just 2 of the places I have to go. Looking forward to it more than any holiday I've ever been on

I’m in Thailand at the moment after a bit of time in Singapore and Malaysia before it.

Hoping to work from here for a month in April if my work allows it. My wife is Thai and we never feel like a couple of weeks is enough. So I’d probably rent a place in Bangkok with co-working space and a pool etc and then we’d do long weekends to the likes of Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam with a longer stint in Japan at the end before returning home.

Accommodation and food in Bangkok is such good value that you could easily do a month there for the same price (probably less) than a much shorter break in Europe.
