Grand old team to play for
On first watch his second goal looks really good, but have to say, that was some poor defending.

First goal is promising though, pushed right up, and finding space on Mexico's defensive line. Then being switch on enough to quickly follow up on the other player's shot.

Was poor defending but still a good finish to bend round the keeper.

The guy has talent but does he have the heart for Scottish football where someone just wants to kick him, probably not.
Sell him and get a player who is grounded and doesn’t think he is Maradona.

I can't blame players for not liking being kicked about and refs providing about as much protection as a cellophane condom.

He's a good player and I imagine he ends up in MLS and does well there.

    More than likely.

Think he can play a part here, but needs to be given the chance. He won't, rightly so, because of the Maeda effect.

He's not getting much of a look in and he's not then gonna be able to impress too much.

He has had a bad few months for sure, seems a lot of personal stuff as well. But he's seemingly addressing his mental stuff and working hard in training etc. can't fault the lad at all.

Second goal is a belter, reminds me of Hooper's goal against Rangers were he just passed the ball around McGregor.

First goal might explain one of life's great mysteries, why Ochoa never made it at a big club despite being one of the best keepers every 4 years when the WC came around.

Hopefully that's him got his starting spot back, he only got on as a substitute for a substitute then scored a minute later.

Honestly find it a bit bizarre the lack of chances, he’s so far 3rd choice winger, second on the left to Maeda it’s not even close. He impressed pre-season, he had a brief cameo CL and impressed and done a great shift for the team, he got took over for a friendly in Ireland with a pretty much B squad, worked like * got a hat trick, got a start in a team with a lot of changes disjointed, set up two big chances that should have seen him depart with two assists, worked hard was great in the press.

He got subbed, and sat on the bench absolutely delighted that the guys that came on got the team a win. Every public comment is respectful, humble and indicating him wanting to prove himself and wants to work to show that.

And the bits of stick he gets I kind of understand people could be frustrated with him because he will always go for the option that could end in a goal for him or another, regardless of how small an opportunity. But in the same vein, he creates * out of nowhere, is dangerous and always willing to take on responsibility rather than an easy option.

Honestly I’m usually open to other oints of view to persuade me that my view of something is wrong, but nobody can make a convincing argument that Yang being ahead of him is anywhere near something that makes sense. I can see Forrest because the experience and how safe he is on the ball in specific situations we need that, but in general, he’s bombed out mostly, some glimpses look like he may not be but doesn’t seem to matter what he does. He’s not in the pecking order. I don’t understand it

Celtic made a request to the Honduran FA to limit the minutes of Luis Palma because of concerns over their pitch in their international break, according to local reports.

And Honduras boss Reinaldo Rueda revealed he then had to sub Palma off at half time in Mexico because he couldn't cope with the high altitude of the venue.

Palma has been lightly used by Celtic this season and has made just one league start and three substitute appearances so far this campaign.

He was on international duty this week in a rollercoaster few days where he netted a double after coming off the bench in the first leg of the Concacaf Nations League quarter finals.

But he played for only the first 45 minutes in the return leg where Honduras were crushed 4-0 and eliminated.

And reports from the Central American country state Celtic asked Honduras manager Reinaldo Rueda to restrict the amount of minutes for Palma in the home leg because of the artificial surface at the General Francisco Morazán Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

And that's why despite being Honduras' star man, he wasn't brought on until the 63rd minute.

Rueda also hooked Palma at half time in the return leg at Toluca, which is 2,600 metres above sea level.

The manager explained: "Luis had a hard time with altitude previously and it was always going to be hard for him here.

"Unfortunately, the full back had the better of him and we made a change because Mexico attacked us a lot on his wing."

The change turned into a disaster for Honduras because his replacement, Juan Carlos Obregon was so impacted by the altitude, he needed oxygen on the pitch and had to be subbed off himself as Honduras crashed to a big defeat

My goal is not to convince you or tell you that you are wrong, but in my opinion Yang is ahead of him because when needed he can switch left or right, because he appears to follow the rules and play how the manager tells him to.

Palma is a better footballer, but he is a little one dimensional and he doesn't always (not saying doesn't ever) dig deep, track back and help out when under pressure....

If he added a little more diversity to his game and added the tracking back to help with press/recovery then he would start more games.....so in my opinion up to him to move last (light-weight) yang in the pecking order
