One load of * but not getting as aggy about it as some. Just ignore it and it’ll go away. Don’t need to buy or even discuss it.

This is a disgrace and whoever sanctioned it should be sacked immediately.

In some of my answers on the survey a few months back I explicitly commented that we should not entertain any further form of fleecing supporters.

I disagree with three new strips every year and the training gear, but at least you get something tangible.

This is just an outrage, coupled with the fact it’s a Sevconian who runs it and we would be lining his pockets.

    A shameful episode all round.

Bad enough all the alcohol and gambling sponsors (the scourge of many), but this shitshow is beyond the pale. About fifteen years ago we had some lottery Ponzi scheme on the official club website and I tore that marketing guy McGuire a new one for that too.

Has anyone got a conscience at Celtic Park?

I really don’t think it should be ignored to be honest because that just adds to the issue. Being vocal about shows the club that it shouldn’t be tolerated.

Look folks, I'm staunchly against this and things of this ilk, but some people do need to calm down a bit...

This is not the kind of thing we should be looking for people to be sacked over! That's an incredible overreaction! We absolutely DO need to flag it as a support though, and push that this kind of thing not be done in future unless it's somehow a TANGIBLE asset being sold - I'm getting on now, but virtual assets MAY actually be a real thing in future if done correctly, I don't know!

Someone, somewhere just saw a revenue stream and pitched it to the board, as is probably part of the job they were hired for. It's upto the board to clearly define what's worth it, and to us as supporters to make it clear what we'll accept/buy.

    Sorry, but nonsense.

If we were some 12 year old * box outfit phoenix club with a desperation for money, and subscribed to the western capitalist ideals of * people over for an extra quid... Even then, this would be a * riddy.

We're not Sevco, and we're certainly not Red Bull Celtic.

"A football club will be formed for the maintenance of dinner tables for children and the unemployed.”

Even if that sentiment rings hollow in todays western society, its still the very ethos of our being, our supporters LIVE this philosophy, are proud if it, and celebrate it with our dedication to charity, social reform and an end to socio economic injustice.

So yeah, whoever signed off on trying to * fleece these same people with imaginary buts of grass has betrayed the very soul of the club, and offended the most important aspect of that club, the supporters... So get them to *.

Utter pisstake, and it would be better not to even mention the foundation than give them a * quid off every sale.

    Should honestly be scrapped immediately.

I get "sacking" someone is a bit far.
But I'm surprised with how many folk (here, social media, friends alike), are so casual about accepting this *.
"Just don't buy it then" isn't the point.

It should never have been allowed to pass through to this stage.

Any bit of due diligence would have shown who runs this company and how much money actually goes to the foundation.
Both of which indicate this is not worth it from the clubs point of view.
That is before we then discuss the fact that it's now Charity As A Service, where you don't even own anything you believe you are "buying" as it's actually "renting" it, to try and no doubt entice you in to a renewal of this nonsense.

Needs truly binned and the club needs to come out and admit this got this wrong.

It's a dreadful attempt for a get rich quick scheme, completely setup to look like you're getting something and confuse the easily swayed to part with their cash.

No one is forcing you to buy it.

Some of the reactions to it are as cringe worthy as the concept itself.

Stuff like this just reminds football fans that we are viewed as the dumbest type of consumer from the people who run and own football. It's a bit depressing

The uproar is a bit much. You’re not obligated to buy it and someone might think it’s a cool wee christmas present.

It’s bad taste and you should get more with it, but still. Nocunt is forcing anyone to buy it.
