    I think this is right

I've seen enough in flashes and in his pedigree to hope he could become something special. But noone in our team should be certain to start regardless of performance. And I've also seen enough from MCCowan and Bernardo that they may become something special as well. Either deserve a start ahead of Engels at the moment.

We have tons of games coming up so I'm sure we will be seeing more rotation in midfield. My guess would be that engels still starts in the champions league and is rotated more often in league games. Especially your killie/Ross county/hearts away type games that are often pretty rough and scrappy. He seems to shrink in those kind of games.

I think his shooting has looked really good, seems to batter shots on target with power, but also shown decent curling efforts and that. That one home game maybe a month ago he had to like dipping curling shots from out wide that went close. I've been impressed with it even his penalties.

Just hasn't really hit many shots as he doesn't seem to pick up good positions around and in the box.

Doesn't seem natural high up the park really as like a number 10 style, as a youth he mostly played the holding role and then for Augsburg played even in the full-back positions, wide of midfield and in the centre for a team who weren't that attacking.

He'll probably pick it up over time.

Aye you can clearly see his talent hitting shots in games..

Think the game you mean was when he hit the bar, hit one wide with his left in the box and the other was dragged just wide. Diets at home (I think)..

Agree about him no looking a natural when he's been high up. Watched bits of Belgian games where he was the same as here, a bit lost when hugging up high around the box or touchline..

Far better when he's arriving late on and more central..

There's still loads more to come from him, I know there us, despite some of my grumblings about parts of his performances..

I have no worries about him whatsoever.

He's third/fourth choice midfielder. We'd want over £11m for Bernardo, McGregor or Hatate.

He's young, he's going to be inconsistent.

He's coming in like O'Riley. Not the O'Riley that left, the one that joined.

Engles will come good. You don't play in midfield for Belgium if you don't have something about you.

Just came in to say the same thing. He's went from playing for a team that probably don't go far in domestic comps to a team playing in the league, CL and going for 2 domestic cups as well and to add to that, he's now being capped at international level.

Maybe a game or two out would do him a bit of good. Big Bernardo deserves some game time and McCowan as well. Both have shown up well when gave minutes.

Just not overly certain what he's supposed to be bringing or what his strongest attributes are yet. Had a great start and has just fallen off.

Will get plenty of time partly due to the fee but there's big competition for places in the middle of the park just now. I think he'll come good in time but think this will be a slow burner.

Not everyone adapts as well as Kyogo to Scottish football for example.

I think he's been fine so far. He's young and still developing. I won't be surprised if he goes for over £30m when we eventually sell him.
