    I'm a big fan of Scales and how much he's progressed but a club like ours has to be ruthless. Even if you're the best player in the team, if somebody else comes along in your position and the manager thinks you're the better of the two, you get dropped. Just wish Rodgers would be as ruthless with Taylor as he has been with Scales.

    Wonder if scales could take up that left back position? When AJ attacks we’re more of a back 3 anyway.

    In a parallel universe where we played 3 at the back I actually think trusty scales and CCV would be unbelievable together

    Scales doesn’t have the passing ability or the pace to play at LB. He has been unlucky but we should all be delighted we have seriously improved the LCB position and not get overly concerned about scales. He’ll play a lot of games for us this season, no doubt.

    He did almost cost us a goal, in the 2nd half when he gave the ball away in his own box..

    Apart from that he looked really assured..

    Like him a lot.

    Was a bit slack but I'm pretty sure he was also the one who blocked that. Don't think Schmeichel saved it.

    His pace has been really evident lately. Clearly upto speed.

    Aye, both Sky and Sportscene said Schmeichel saved, thought it was definitely Trusty getting back to atone for his error..

    Always thought he looked quick, his positioning is much better now as he's settled and looks a lot more comfortable with the class of CCV next to him.
