Absolutely love this. What a touch of class from Athletic Club.

 

At this point in Jamesy’s career having pretty much spent his whole life at Celtic and giving us some special moments anyone who still wants to whine that he hasn’t done something right (in their eyes) needs to wind their * neck in. However the online football experts (* brigade) will no doubt continue to spout of their usual negative *. Guys a legend, why any Celtic fan would want to try to * on that is beyond me.

 

I imagine his new deal will reflect his position in the squad for the next 2 years. I.e. a supporting role...on and off the pitch.

There will be some who have a moan about it (standard), but * them. It's well deserved. Club legend as stated many times on this thread.

 

Played well on his weaker side. Gave that boy more issues than Daizen, surprisingly.

 

He's still got it.

Not been his biggest fan

Was very good when he came on. There's life in him yet.

 

Daizen only has the pace and power so when a player can match that he’s easy to defend against. Where as Forrest can go both ways, great close control and picks out a pass, very hard to defend against.

 

He's going to end up the most decorated Scottish footballer of all time, a tremendous role model for all young players

 

Excellent cameo, absolutely toasted that full back when he came on. Was hoping he’d take the penalty tbh but he’ll have more chances to score this season.

 

Think cameo's like tonight show why it's important to have a player like him in the squad.

He's still good enough domestically and he's a fantastic option to bring on off the bench, whilst he's not as quick as he used to be, he's definitely not slow, can still beat a man for pace.

 

Still skins defenders no bother, give him another year after today.

 

I wish he was 10 years younger, but what a pro he is. Club legend.
