Didn't look like any force at all in it but was definitely far too high on the shin, silly to even give the ref a decision to make.

It’s a red card for me. He’s very high. I can see why it’s not given, there is no force behind it but it’s a red for me.

Given our next game is away at Tynecastle don't be surprised to see this go to a review and him getting banned

Does that still happen now we have VAR? I’ve heard of bans being extended but never a retrospective red. Nothing would surprise me with the SFA tbf but surely if 2 referees deem it to be a yellow then that should be that.

Boy from St Mirren never got a retrospective ban when he booted someone who was on the floor twice.

Still, for me he was lucky to get away with it and it was absolutely brain dead to go in like he did. He should’ve been off long before that though.

I guess it stayed a yellow because Hatate isn't known as a vicious player.

They actually made similar comments on clyde 1 yesterday regarding the Japanese players possibly receiving some leniancy because of their good nature.

It was a tired tackle; rather than any malice or force. That said; I’d have been screaming for a red if the shoe was on the other foot.

Interesting though that not a single Killie player made a big deal of it, which speaks volumes.

I think a lot of that was because Hatate held his hands up straight away as he knew it was a bad challenge. So it meant nobody got involved. Which probably saved him as well to be fair, because if players had run in, it would have put more pressure on the officials to send him off.

Incredible Rodgers hadn't subbed him before that..

    He was clearly shattered.

I'm not sure. I think there was an incident last year when it happened although that may have been one getting recinded.

St mirren one is a good example to suggest maybe it doesn't happen anymore bcoz * knows how that homophobic, woman beater got away with that

Looks like the early indications is the weather is * there tonight, so most likely a wet boggy pitch, prefer none of them get on.
