What a player this lad is man. As a swede i felt sad when Zlatan retired for our national teams sake even though Isak is pretty good but holy * this boy is special.

Im pretty sure we were linked with him when he was at Coventry? Will be interesting to see where he end up.

Arsenal should sign him

 

Barca reportedly want him as a replacement for Lewa who'll turn 37 next summer. They also reportedly want Haaland. Not sure whether they can afford him. City might be in deep trouble though with 115 charges looming against them. You never know.

Sporting are a well-coached team. Can't help but wonder whether Gyokeres' form is a result of team success rather than individual brilliance. I mean, he was bang average till he signed for Sporting and was already 25 years old at the time. Perhaps he's a late bloomer though. Time will tell. For instance, Drogba's first big club was Marseille at the age of 25.

 

He wasn't bang average, he'd been scoring goals before going there and a decent amount for his age. He's also scoring at international level.

He looks like the real deal every time I have seen him playing for Sporting. Wonder now that the manager is gone will he go back for Gyokeres in January. Could see that happening.

 

Sweden ending up with this boy and Isak so soon after Larsson and Ibra feels unfair as a Scotland fan. We’ve been awaiting a new challenger to Dalglish for such a long time now
