For the UEFA Nations League 2024/25 competition this starts with 1st match on 5th September 2024.
There are 54 nations competing in this. RUSSIA STILL BANNED.
    League’s A,B and C have 4 groups of 4 teams each.
Each group winner from League A will join the World Cup 2026 qualification play offs from the UEFA confederation.
They will join the 12 WC 2026 UEFA teams that finished 2nd in their WC groups, in the same WC qualification play offs.
SCOTLAND, being the only home nations team in League A are the only home nation team that have 2 chances to qualify for the WC 2026. Direct through WC qualifiers and through Nations League into WC play offs.

The following post will show who the home nations are up against in each group

It's scary to think how much you'd need to pay for that Anthony Gordon, he's absolute *, wouldn't even have him as backup for Celtic, he's that bad he wouldn't even get in that * huns team.

    Never impresses me.

I hope they still give it to him..

They've got good player but the next batch after your Kanes, centra halves, Walkers with Trent, lack of deoth in the centre mid positions as most of them are 10 types. No real top class keepers....I think they've missed their real spell where they've had * easy runs and other nations have been pish..

This competition is that unpopular, that dismissed and uncared for, I’ve tried to look for highlights for Nations League games. England’s is on ITVs Youtube, found France and thats it. Can’t find any others.

Any other ‘competition’ highlights are up on any game possible on YouTube within a half hour at the latest.

I long for the old days when you could watch all the highlights in one place that night, on itv or bbc

    France v Warmonger IDFC

on Thursday could be a bit heated if the away fans don’t follow the advice to stay away…

Belgium refused to host the last one….

Just get them out of. uefa…

Make them play nicely with the neighbours in the appropriate federation.

    * ridiculous that we are 11 games deep into a league campaign, ignoring games already played in cup competitions domestically and in Europe and we now on the * 3rd International break of the season.

No wonder players are starting to speak out about the amount of games they are playing.

Really wish breaks like this were scrapped altogether

I think players want international football, many of them anyway. It does need to be cut though. Nations league could be cut and that's 6 games plus play offs cut, with teams playing 16-20 games over 2 seasons. Start qualifying earlier so you can easily cut 2 International breaks a season.

FIFA and UEFA care about money, and more so than player welfare. As shown by the club world Cup.
