Always enjoyed Tim Vickery’s articles on the BBC Football site years ago, but if you ever get the chance to read his view of Schiedt a guaranteed legend for us it’s amusing in hindsight that.

Is the spl actually too physical for him?

Or is he just that breed of player who needs comfortability to develop.

South American leagues are an anomaly. Theres never any guarantee that players from there will flourish in european leagues.

But given his form, Id be reluctant to pap him out just yet.
However, if we do take him back and give him a chance, theres always the danger his value will nosedive.

Im inclined to keep him. We're far too light in the position, and Taylor doesnt seem interested in renewing. He could prove handy to have.

See being fair you could see that, he came here as a 22 year old, didn’t speak the language and also became a dad all relatively quickly.

He is used to playing a different style of football, living in a different culture and it’s clear to see he is playing well. He will be sold of that I have no doubt, possibly not to who he is on loan with. Where I doubt we get the rumoured €10m, it sounds like we will be looking for our money back and a bit on top and why not?

It is just like us Norwich and Idah, I suspect at some point a deal will be agreed with someone. You might even get the likes of Boca or River Plate interested if he is playing that well in Brazil.

 

He’s definitely not a fit here, football wise or living in Scotland.

But best if luck to him if we get a bit of money back.

Moving to the other side of the world just doesn't work for some people, the culture shock is too much. It must have made it so much easier for our asian players settling in that we had a whole group of them here.

 

Glad to see there is a player in there somewhere and hopefully we make a tidy profit.

Shouldn’t deter us from the South American market though.

 

Didn't exactly help himself with settling in by getting done drunk-driving pretty soon after he arrived. I did think he was given multiple chances to impress, partly due to having limited alternatives but he didn't ever show he deserved more game time than he got.

Think it suits everyone if we can get him sold. Sounds promising in terms of turning a profit.

 

Mental that people have seen how bad this guy is with their own eyes and don't just conclude he wasn't good enough.

 

It would not surprise me if that as true. Makes sense given how poor he was with us overall. Can't be easy a young lad like that making such a big change and travelling so far away from home. It's just not going to work out big moves like that all the time.

 

Happy for the boy, bags for talent but just the wrong wove for him over here. Hope he smashes it.

 

If we are able to not only sell him in January but actually make a profit on the 3.75m we paid for him that would be incredible.
