Agree, but only in the DM role. More than good enough as a CM, with the right guys behind and beside him.

    He was that, no doubt.

Aye he was * shocking, looked like he’d won some sort o raffle to play a game for us :56:

He was that * others got an easier ride though IMO. Not totally off the hook, just easier because he was remarkably *

Du Wei’s first half performance was no worse than Henrik Larsson or VVDs debuts

He got scapegoated no danger & is the first name that folk associate with Clyde v Celtic. And always seems to pop when folk ask who is the worst celtic player

He would’ve sold more jerseys than Larsson & VVD combined which we could’ve tariffed the * out of to China

Aye I largely agree with you, but that doesn’t make him a scapegoat or worthy of further chances.

Iwata should start at the weekend, and should have come on on Wednesday

Your performance here is worse than Du Wei's.

There's unpopular opinions and then there's just plain ol' revisionary lunacism. I'll let others decide what category yours falls into...

Gary Caldwell was far better passer of the ball than was giving credit for.

Big Joos was more important to MON team than Balde

Du Wei walked through the wasteland on the Gallowgate (behind that wee industrial estate that had the building with ladders on it and the Blue Lagoon next to it) one time.

It was a night game,* smoking their joints and having a beer before the game and he just walked through in his wee Celtic trackie on a mission heading towards the stadium.

Shame they fenced that area off actually!

It’s a tremendous word, the best word in the dictionary & it will help the club become great again

A lot of the team are only an under par performance away from being added to the "* list" by more than a few on here

Id say Maradonna knows more than you and he once said:

Du Wei has the perfect sense of how defending should be played

It’s lunacy that he didn’t get more minutes & had a better debut that Larson and VVD

There’s parts of the support I’ve always felt make up their mind on a player early on, and when the player goes on to perform and prove them wrong, they just wait to feel the judgement they had at first is justified. And then that player has a wee dip in form, then they rally to back that up.

I don’t think it’s only guys we’ve brought through but Calmac and especially Forrest it’s apparent with. Not only them though, I can remember * having wrote Van Dijk off after Karagandy, desperately explaining Denayer was superior and allowing Van Dijk to show off. Denayer was * good, but it was clear it was the other way round there.

Can remember Niall McGinn apparently far ahead of McGeady as a player after a dip in form. We’re * for it.

I am biased with this, just check my name, but its also why people are struggling to admit Scales being amazing not just this year but last.

Scott Brown is * DULL as a pundit. Not exactly bursting with interesting opinions and insight. Even after Celtic beating Leipzig he sat there looking far too serious on TNT sports with Neil Lennon - very good player, not a great pundit.

Don't think that's unpopular tbh. I find most Scottish pundits boring and monotonous. Even most Scottish people on tv are like that.

Our (correct) desire for domestic trebles harms the chances for young players to get game time and develop, and is in part responsible for the lack of young players coming out of the academy.
