That Depeche Mode when we score!!
We will bury Brugge at home, bury them and who cares about what EPL Villa do. We would have qualified by the time we play them and most probably so will they.

Expect them all to be decent/good sides, including Young Boys.

They’re all games where we should be capable of taking something if we play like we are capable of though. Happy to just take it one game at a time and focus on performance - if we’re as tenacious and determined as we were against Atalanta, or as composed and skilful as we were against Leibzig, we’ll equip ourselves well.

The goal at the start was obviously to make the top 24.
I think now we should be realistically aiming for a top 16 finish to get seeding in the playoffs, that would be a phenomenal achievement!

But if we get a win against Brugge, we’ll be in an unbelievable position of seriously pushing for the top 8!

There’s not one, even the most optimistic, Celtic fan who would have envisioned that!

An absolute credit to BR and the players!
What a season it’s been! :shamrock:

Believe me we will put Brugge to the Sword, then our confidence will be off the scale:50:

If we were to make top 16, how does the seeding work? Is it 9th v 24th, 10th v 23rd and so on? Or does the draw get redone in a “special” way so to advantage the big clubs?

Teams 9-16 are seeded and will be drawn against teams 17-24.
Seeded teams will play second leg at home.
Draw for last 16 is on 31st January and draw for remaining rounds are all on 21st February

Grand old team to play for
Best not to get ahead of ourselves. 100% focus on the Killie match. When Brugge game comes round 100% focus on that - win that and we've effectively qualified for the playoff stage at least. If we can get that job done, then look at what's next.

For me it’s take it a game at a time and a marker at a time Brugge is next, win that and we would have 10 points so tick off that we are something like 98% certain to at least be unseeded in a playoff tie. Not looking beyond that.

Young Boys haven’t looked great and the highlights last night against Shakhtar they didn’t look good again, they have sacked a manager and struggling domestically. I wish that was our next game but it will be two and a half months before we play them. A lot can happen between now and then.

Dinamo Zagreb are not the diddy team a lot thought they were when Bayern scored 9 in to them. They have had largely favourable games since then but if we beat Brugge, it is a team we are on a level with, if not above in terms of our budget. It is away from home which is a leveller though.

Lets get the Killie and Hearts games won and set up a cracker of a home tie with Club Brugge.

It doesn’t back up your point  that team that played last night can beat anyone on their day.

    They aren’t invincibles ffs.

You’ve just used a game where they got beat and didn’t play anywhere near the level they can to argue they have great strength in depth :56:. Had they won the game and played well I’d understand. Using last nights game as an argument to show they have brilliant strength in depth is just plain stupid.

The fact they haven’t won in their last 4 games against teams they are more than capable of beating shows that a busy schedule is causing them problems. Why? Because they haven’t got a massive squad. Their starting eleven when all fit is a very good team no doubt.

If we have the same results in the last 4 games as the first 4 and end up finishing in the same position then UEFA alone will be giving us about €51million

I really want to beat Villa. I just hate getting the 'you'd be in the Championship' *. Honestly, it's the game I want to win the most.

Sad part is we are one of the few sides that wont directly be in the CL next season that have qualified for a knockout/playoff stage this year.

Just noticed that if Barcelona and Dortmund lose their next matches and we win ours against Brugge we will be above them.
