I thought we were brilliant. Looked like the better team. Absolutely a massive win, takes us a huge step towards qualification.

 

Still buzzing.....an outstanding performance.

 

Think the big thing this tournament is showing is that we are a Champions League team not just a team playing in the Champions League

 

I hope the board can now see that the duopoly business plan is way out of date

 

Didn't think we'd hammer at top team in europe ever again. The way we took the game to them in 2nd half was really impressive as well. Great night.

We should aiming to win our next 3 games and push for the top 8.

 

Unbelievable performance last night. Bar a 10 minute spell after going 1 down we dominated them. Every player was brilliant even the subs. But special shout out to Kuhn and Hatate.

What struck me most about last night is how we absolutely toyed with Leipzig the last 20 mins. No panic, no stupid stuff, no backs to the wall defending even. Just intricate passing and breaking their press, all while still generating attacking chances.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it from us in Europe, even in our famous wins. There’s usually been an element of luck or real periods of pressure on us that we’ve ridden out. Barring 10 mins last night around their goal we were outstanding to a man.

Still buzzing. It's like a sleeping giant has awoken at last.

 

Was working last night so unfortunately had to miss this one. Still didn't stop me checking the phone every 5 minutes when there were no managers around in the warehouse though!

Just getting round to watching this back and finished the first half there. Outside of that 10-15 minute wobble Celtic look totally at home at this level. Can't wait to see the second half, but what's really impressive is how there was no hanging on last night. It wasn't a fluke. It was just a powerful, powerful showing against a top team.

Delighted for the boys and the manager. Need to totally keep the head at this stage and respect the opposition moving forward. Expectation is only going to rise and already hearing people talking about a potential top 8 finish. Still a lot of good performances needing to be put in before we can dream of that.

But that goal of a top 24 finish looks an almost certainty now, and that was always the goal. Massive, massive achievement this if we can get it over the line, and I think we'll beat Club Brugge in the next game to do it.

Get that top 24 spot and the pressure is absolutely off in the outside push for a top 8.

That result last night was fantastic and opens up so many opportunities for us....and the great thing is I have the next 2 European nights off work!
