C.P. lack of atmosphere AGAIN PETITION

at the end of the day the fans cant get going if the players fail to excite.

 

If we weren't In the Champions League as often the atmosphere would probably be better.

Then we wouldn't be used to hosting Barca etc.

But obviously thats not an excuse.

A. Booze.
Don't be so stupid. Booze equals missiles being thrown, drunks urinating wherever they want, fans running onto park (Remember the pathetic excuse following AC game,, 'A wis *, sorry'). Potential for disaster if stadium were to be evacuated and more violence in and around the stadium. The way forward eh?

B. Terraced Section. So we just letter thousands of fully paid up season ticket holders and tell them the club's decided to get rid of their seats?
Can't relocate them all into other areas (Not that they all want relocated) so they'll just have to stand?

C. Big screens are vital for some fans with restricted views, especially when the balls being played down touchlines and into corner flag areas. Also great for replays etc. Get them 'tae *'? Hmm. As for DJ, you're all complaining about no atmosphere or singing and the answer is to sack the guy who plays tunes? Explain.

D. 1230 KO is for ONE or TWO games a season at Celtic Park. Why should this have any effect on the atmosphere?

Personally i'm glad i can take my sons to the game and not have to tolerate pissheads all over the place singing rebel songs and throwing missiles at the park.

How boring eh?

 

ever since cp became all seater the atmosphere has slowly got quieter, the only time u get a good atmosphere is a huns or european game

celtic fans are not as passionate anymore they used to sing no matter what the score is and now we have to be winning to sing

 

A lot of it is to do with success imo.

The better we do the more fans that don't really know what its about will want to come along. Right now say we had already qualified with a game to go in the CL, I would think we would still have nearly a full house for the final meaningless game (at home). Then you look at the ultra succesful teams like Milan who when we played them in our last game last year didn't even nearly fill the stadium.

 

Everytime Im at CP or any other ground I sing, the JBs behind me are always singing....THe GB the times ive been down in bottom tier have been singing but as soon as it comes round to the older guys in like North Stand Bottom tier who think "we done all the singing and that back when i was younger" so what you tell the older generation to get up and sing I dont think so....No one will sing unless enough people around you join in....so if u start the singing u never know it might cotton on instead of blaming everyone else for the atmosphere.

The reason CP's atmosphere is crap is due to the crap football employed by the successful Gordon Strachan.

 

there are various reason for that disaster.

the stupid rules (all seater/no alcohol etc) from the big organisations UEFA/FIFA/SPL and so on trying to get as much money outta the game as possible and also trying to get rid of the (true) fans. excuse me, did I say fans? of course by killing the classic supporter culture with their gay rules they want to get rid of all supporters and get customers instead. people who sit down and watch the game quietly of course, eat, drink and buy a shirt after the game. a bit like the opera.

another factor is (too much) success. success saturates.

bad football is not an excuse. nowadays the atmosphere in lower leagues is far better than in the prem ones. by that logic teams in far lower divisions wouldn't have any fans or atmosphere. that's just not correct.

 

To many * wearing shirt and ties ,get them tae * and you will see and hear the difference.

 

And another thing ,we are called SUPPORTERS ,how much for the average ticket ,lets 25quid , now if i was paying 25 quid for 90mins ,i would be making sure i got behind my team and SUPPORTED them ,
