Granted they’ve lost every game but they’ve played Juve, Liverpool & Atletico. Their points total is a massive red herring. Extremely tall order for us to even get a point here. Would be delighted if we can manage that tbh.

I'm feeling positive about this one knowing their injuries and they've just had Dortmund give them the run around. We are going into it with decent form, too.

Having said that, I felt positive about the Dortmund game...

I don't think we should look to much into their CL results as they've played some of the top teams and they play in one of Europe's top leagues. I also don't think they'll be too intimidated by our support as well so hopefully we don't go gung ho and play it cagey from the start. I'd love a win but would settle for a draw

Hopefully I'm just reading too much into it, but it worries me how animated Rodgers was yesterday. It makes no sense to me that he would be that animated about small mistakes when we were hammering Aberdeen. No sense unless he plans to go toe-to-toe with Leipzig on Tuesday. He knows Leipzig would punish mistakes like that.

For Celtic, the best thing to do is to try to emulate what happened in Italy. What worries me is that for Rodgers' ego, a defensive 0-0 draw at home might not undo the damage done in Dortmund. I worry that he wants to try to play attacking and go for a win that would soothe the damage done to his ego in Dortmund. Hopefully, I'm way off, because I don't think it will end well for us if we try to do that.

But why else would he go so mental at small mistakes in a game where we were rampant?

Hopefully. I just more or less woke up with this idea. Luckily for all of us, I'm often wrong. :giggle1:

If we play as good as we did on saturday we should fear no team. We were unstoppable. Lets keep it like that. HH

    Can't wait for this..

It will be tough but we've got to relish it and take the game to them when we can.. everyone will need to be at their best.

Tough, tough game this. Easier points to be picked up elsewhere. A draw would be a very, very decent result

Will need luck on our side like that we had in the Atalanta game and work as hard but we can get something from this, would be happy with a point but I think the game could go any direction

Thank * at last we've got CCV fully back for this one.
    That gives me hope.

I know they still have a few out but their injuries are being overplayed a bit.

The keeper, Nusa and Openda all played at the weekend there, so will all be fit.

Their defence doesn’t look the best on paper missing Raum and the young guy who is being talked up as the next big thing. Orban is a decent player and so is Geertruida but Hendricks and Klosterman whilst they are experienced aren’t at the level of those out injured.

Still a front four of Baumgartner, Nusa, Openda and Sesko is very formidable. They also have a host of options for the two centre midfield spots. Middle to front you could argue they are better than the team we played two years ago. At the back they had Gvardiol and that massive right back Sikmaan so not sure they are as good there. However, we can’t get into a shoot out like we tried to with Dortmund, we will need to be smart how we go about the game.

Go balls out for the win and let’s see what happens. Win this and we could actually be looking at an outside chance for top 8. Point would still be a great result though and put us in a very strong position to get into the playoffs.

I think our defeat by Dortmund has made a lot of our fans (certainly not them all ) a bit more realistic which I think is a good thing. Our main aim is to get points from the so called "smaller teams" in our group so that we can progress in the CL and anything else would a major bonus.

Almost a identical situation as before the Dortmund game. Thrashed a team domestically. Let's not go into this game being as naive, but i have confidence that we wont this time. A very tough game and im not sure how i would set up here. Need a good balance between defence and attack somehow.
