Forgot all about him.

 

He is absolutely *. Palma wasn't great either last night but at least shows for the ball and doesn't hide the amount of times Ralston had the ball and Yang wasn't avaliable so we had to go back inside was unreal

 

Might as well have been sitting in the main stand first half he was at the line that much.....basically begging no to get the ball..

When he did he'd cut back inside, pass back or run in to trouble/traffic..

 

I only saw highlights from last night but I'm not sure why we are persevering with Yang at this stage to be honest. Maybe he's doing well in training and giving it his all, but I don't see it on the park at all.

Home to teams like Falkirk and Dundee, he should have defenders on toast but he never looks that involved or brave on the ball.

 

Absolutely no chance he's gonna make it here.
Sooner he's despatched the better for his future career.

We could mix it up a few ways..

I'd have McCowan on the right instead of Yang any day..

I'd start a younger player from the academy over Yang..

Give him a few minutes here and there when we're cruising so hopefully someone from mainland Europe takes him off our hands permanently..

That's a good shout with the sheep and Holm..

 

I think his time is up unfortunately. I don't think he's being used where he's most effective but was really no use at all out right particularly first half. He set up the goal, fair enough, but generally he's just not offering enough. Looks totally lost with what to do when running in from the right and invariably just runs into them. Can't fault his effort and would like it to work out but can't have a winger offering as little.

 

Winger definitely top of the priority list in Jan..

 

I think a few of them you get around your money back, the likes of Bernabei we should get at least our money back, Palma there or there abouts.

Nawrocki and Lagerbielke we are taking a hit we paid £4m and £3m for a couple of £2m players. I think if you get around that back for the pair of them we will be doing well. Legia wanted Nawrocki back in the summer and Malmo wanted to buy Lagerbielke as they have money after selling Nanasi and Cornelius. So not a big loss.

Holm, I think is talented but Rodgers doesn’t seem to fancy him and there does seem questions about attitude. He didn’t even get a runout against Sligo. Like you I would loan him out to someone in the league or maybe a Belgium/ Holland, quite a technical league would suit him. It would boost his price if nothing else.

Yang we paid £2m and it’s a project that didn’t work out, maybe a team on the continent takes a punt on him but I would just take what we can get for him.

So all in getting at least £10m for that lot shouldn’t be out of the question. I agree I don’t think we need numbers in January we need 3 players and probably about 5 or 6 between January and the Summer.

For me

- a right sided centre back, probably a younger developing player who doesn’t mind being understudy to CCV but can step in. Someone from a big club academy wouldn’t be a bad shout.
- A left winger, my number 1 priority. Needs to be able to take on a man, quick and end product, another Kuhn effectively.
- Lennon Miller and if we can’t get him, I want Adem Zorgane, a creative centre midfielder with decent size and presence.

Need a left back in the summer and then a couple to replace any outgoings.

 

AJ gets on the end of that ball from Palma, probably Kuhn and Forrest too. He's just so lightweight and defensively not great as we seen in the huns 3-3 win last season.

 

Just watched the unique angle goal from last night..

Johnston actually pushes Yang out the way when celebrating, barely acknowledged the assist..

Probably a wee indicator of Yang is perceived by the squad..

 

I like the idea of loaning Holm to Aberdeen in January. Makes sense as there is potential there I think.

 

I just don't see enough there for me to say we should keep him. Try and find a buyer and move on.
