Unbelievable player and one i was hoping Ange was going to bring.

No doubt he’ll be starting his apprenticeship under Pep soon.

 

As much as Xavi was sensational, I always thought Iniesta was slightly better.

 

Kind of crazy how we beat that team with Tony Watt getting the winner lol. Best game of my life

Can see him going back to Barcelona as a youth coach of some sort for a period.
No one's ever gonna forget his names but would imagine if he went back, he will keep his head down and get on with his job for 2-3 years before hopefully getting promoted. Ala Guardiola.

Or in the case of Guardiola, he had 1 year in the 4th division with Barca B

I am sure he will coach in La Masia, much like Xavi should have or perhaps still will attempt one day - as we know, not every club legend can become a legendary coach

Outside of Celtic, Xavi, Iniesta & Messi are my top 3 with a special mention for Zidane as well.

I did always prefer Xavi to him though, for me Xavi is the best midfielder ever. Iniesta was more of a flair player, where as Xavi was consistently like an 8/10 every single game for 10+ years. He pulled the strings in midfield with passing and was for me better defensively, more creative and he controlled midfield.

Iniesta was sensational on a ball but was allowed more freedom by playing with Xavi. For me even he should have done a wee bit more, he should have been a wee bit more creative or scored a bit more since he was allowed to get up the park more, he was capable of being like Ozil and getting 30 goals and assists a season although then again with Messi, Villa, Neymar, Eto'o and whoever he didnt really need to do anything but just manipulate the ball to them and let them do it which he was great at.
