Service in the correct area of the pitch. He didn’t have a poor game.

I thought he was * during the game and said as much but he was up against a tank and didn't have a lot to work with. Put a shift in.

He put in a shift and a half, he was at full back just as much as he was number 9.

Aye agree with the above, few poor touches but that was a really tough shift.

He put in a good shift and kept their defense occupied, and also is very handy defensively.
I reckon Brendan has realised that Idah being a big guy, needs to start more often to be able to get to peak fitness.

John Hartson was the same for us.

Needs to start more regularly to get a good tune out of him.

Was maybe harsh on him in game chat, he was up against a big strong quick centre back but he still linked up our play a good few times. At £9M though we need more from him.

People can debate his fee and it's value all they want but when you put that to the side and judge his performances for Celtic since he's been here he's contributed massively and shown his potential.

Ultimately we were due to spend £12m on converting him and Bernardo into permanents and we did that, overpaid on him and underpaid on Paolo? Maybe, but we're football fans not accountants so * all that talk and support the guy! He wanted to be here and not in Norwich picking up a wage from the bench so he has my backing.

Think he was OK but wanted a bit more from him a few times the ball went up there.

Hien not an easy opponent mind but still. Idah isn't exactly tiny himself.

He has a lot of attributes, pretty much everything for a modern striker. Bit it needs to come together.

He put in a shift but was absolutely bitched by a very good centre half. Kyogo did far more when he came on albeit was probably a bit easier for him.

Thought he was * to be honest. Surprised Kyogo wasn't brought on sooner.

Good learning experience for him IMO. He's used to playing against defenders much smaller, slower and weaker than him and needs to learn how to use his physicality against defenders as big, strong and quick as he is. It's exactly the kind of coachable thing he lacks and it's games like this where he'll learn how to do that.

I honestly think he's going to be a standout for us in Europe when he develops a bit.

When the game plan is what ours was tonight, it’s not always going to stick. However it often did first half and he had a couple of really good lay offs that we then just didn’t make the most of because we were sloppy in possession. Really helped out defensively as well. Got a bit isolated second half as our midfield dropped a bit deeper, but that’s natural given the shift we put in. Idah was absolutely fine tonight.

This is pretty much how I saw it.

He wasn’t perfect but he alleviated pressure in situations where Kyogo would have lost the ball. Rodgers got it right tonight in that regard.

Aye. The balls from Schmeichel first half are never sticking if Kyogo is up there. It didn’t always stick with Idah as I said, but it’s never going to. He did lay a fair few of them to midfield runners though, but we then wasted it. Put in a huge shift going back and covering as well.

Far better out ball for away games in Europe. Didn't always stick but at least gave Schmeichel and the back 4 someone to aim at and stopped us losing possession in dangerous areas as much as we usually do in these game when we can't get out when pressed
