That was a fantastic performance tonight. Defensively we were brave and resilient. We were far better with our pressing as we let Atalanta come onto us then swarmed around them forcing hopeful balls into the box. I thought Trusty and Scales were outstanding. McGregor was excellent. Kuhn was superb. Schmeichel made big saves. We have given ourselves a real chance of qualifying and that is credit to the team and management.

Not one bit shameful jumping out my seat and clapping at the pub after that defensive performance. Deserved it.

    Trusty, yes bhoyyyyy.

That was peak Rodgers tonight I’m guessing draw with Aberdeen is because we were so concentrated in getting the right result tonight

My original post on page 28 was a response to jpr21’s post about Engels which I have quoted that post. Not sure if you are seeing that or seeing something else but no big deal mate.

Tremendous result which I’m sure we are both in agreement on!

Yeah was hard to tell, know nothing of him. Was on talksport but very briefly and didn't say anything too controversial but thought that was a strange comment.

Pretty much every Celtic fan would've bitten your hand off for a clean sheet tonight after the Dortmund disaster.

That was outstanding tonight defensively. I didn’t read anything into what Rodgers said regarding the setup and not changing, because Rodgers isn’t the type of person who is going to admit he needs to alter his philosophy in an interview in my opinion. He isn’t daft however, and that * nose in Dortmund has definitely made him change tonight.

The setup was exactly what I wanted to see from us. We actually still carried a threat and had we been a bit better with the ball could have really caused Atalanta problems. That’s the only criticism of tonight. I felt we were quite sloppy with the ball, and it was often under no pressure. The shape and defence were both unreal however. Rodgers and the players deserve all the plaudits that come their way tonight. Just as they deserved the criticism in Dortmund. 4 points after the fixtures so far is a great return, and we have gave ourselves a real fighting chance of the play-offs.

Was tough viewing. Thank * we held on. :56:

Brendan deserves a lot of credit for changing it following the Dortmund game.

I knew Brendan was going to change it, he is not going to give the game away in a TV interview.
Glad to see he is not as unbending and inflexible as Ange was in the Champions League.
    Keep it up Brendan.

    Horses for courses.

That point for Aberdeen was bordering on the miraculous for them . Another day we score 5 , just one of those freak days in front of goal. We will win the league at a canter.

Much for a draw? Asking for a mate who’s a chairman. :fear:

Really happy with the point away from home to a good team, they didn't have our measure... most of the time, but when they did we rode our luck. I thought Valle, Johnston and Trusty were all good, Casper too. Scales was immense, a good performance to watch. McGregor got in on a fair number of attacks and seemed to control the spaces a lot (hard to tell the latter on a TV coverage). Hatate is certainly worth a mention too. An all round good performance which I enjoyed watching.
Watched the Leipzig v Liverpool game (0-1 ft) and fancy us at Celtic Park against them. Looking forward to that one.
