Kasper, Johnston, Trusty, Scales, Valle, McGregor all brilliant I thought. Hatate did well too. Kuhn and Maeda worked their bollocks off and provided some respite from time to time. Thought they both did themselves proud.

Engels and Idah were a bit disappointing honestly, but I won’t be too negative. Just not what you want to be saying about your 2 record signings.

Everyone did a job off the bench, great commitment all round.

    Trusty man of the match.

    Got to disagree with Idah.

I actually thought he did the big man up top linking the play quite well. He had some really beautiful first touches that others ran onto in the first half.

I thought Engles was OK but I'm expecting more only because of the price tag.

Rory Hamilton sounded happy didn't he?

Was waxing lyrical and willing an Atalanta goal..

To sum that orange * up. His wee line about us only having 900 out there. No fact we sold 13-1500 and sold out our end and the extras to the side....where there was loads. I l know this cause my brothers out there now sending me the videos..

    Get it * up them..

Got to say that I really hope the huns keep the good feeling going for Scottish football by getting thumped on Thursday.

I thought, first half especially, the ball was bouncing off him. Kasper would find him, he’d * the touch and we’d be on the back foot again instantly. I wouldn’t say he had a bad game exactly but I just hoped for more from him. Think he’s still a bit rusty because I know he’s got better control than that.

By the way, side note. Those 2 free kicks that Atalanta got in injury time were a godsend. Took up about 3 minutes while they arsed around planning what they were going to do with them.

Idah did ok but I think Kyogo would have been better suited for this game playing counter attack football. He's faster and handles the ball better.

Excellent point away in Europe, well done, now when they go into their next away European game our players recent memory will be this game and it’ll give them heart and encouragement, special mention to our FB’s, AJ booked in 8th minute and played accordingly, despite being targeted at times by two players AJ was never in danger of a red, Valle, what a great performance from a young player with not that many starts for us, his qaulity going forward is obvious and again tonight he showed us he can cope defensively, our system relys on our FB’s and tonight both were immense.

What a night. That result is an unlikely mix of ‘semi-miraculous’ and ‘well deserved’.

Fair *, Celtic, you stood tall for us tonight :ynwacelti:notworthy

Wouldn't even call it negative. It's just sensible and disciplined football that pays the opponent and appropriate degree of respect.

I know your post was tongue in cheek btw :yeah:

Well done. Took the lessons of the Aberdeen game full in. A point worth three, in a mental sense. We have direct proof that adapting to our opponents is the way forward.

Delighted with the result, can help us with the qualification for the knock-out stages and hopefully gives us back a bit of self-believe!

That's also needed if we want to improve our counter attacks. We've been wasteful and ball control was pathetic at times. With more self-believe we hopefully do better there in the next games!

A very good result against the Europa League winners. We shouldn't forget that.
