Made us more dynamic when he came on. Managed to move us out several times. Excellent.

Said last season that I thought he was a star. You could see with his touch, confidence, vision, and overall play that he was a player.

For me, I'd have him ahead of Engels.

I would be starting him ahead of Engels in the next couple of games.

Really was an excellent cameo from him tonight and properly calmed things down when players were visibly beginning to panic a bit. He’s some player to have in the squad.

Would imagine he will start against Motherwell on Sunday. He really was excellent when he came on last night. His first touch and work rate are absolutely first class.

He looks at home on that stage. Can see that both him and Valle have came through elite academies. Don't really panic on the ball

Sometimes Valle a bit too much, he lost the ball a lot last night but he was still very good and oddly still good on the ball. He’s a player you can see has a good education in the game, has some quality but is still young and is settling into his career learning. I’m happy our fans seem to be accepting that with him.

Bernardo though? The only time he’s been phased was in Dortmund. He got thrown in out of nowhere last season into the CL and was calm and collected on the ball, very contained and just accurate taking the ball and passing to a teammate. And it was out of nowhere, and mostly just the CL before he went on a run to play other games.

He is so composed, classy, and hardworking as *. He’s so similar to O’Riley I think.

He's a good player but I feel like that 6 role nullifies him.

Some great touches and won the ball back a few times as well, and that effort in first half was really unlucky. Thought he played well.

Shackled in the six role (and you could probably say the same for Engel's)
A proper rotation option for McGregor is needed in Jan and let Paulo play further forward

He won the ball back a fair bit, sometimes i feel like he lacks the care on the ball required for how we play that position

Same. I think he’s been good in that role considering he’s never really played it for us. McGregor set the bar high and a lot can’t see by him no matter how good the replacement does. I would like to see him in their v RBL. He just a bit more bullish which we lack against the big teams in Europe.

I think we have the wrong idea about what kind of player he is. He's quick, strong, good in the tackle, good at pressing, has truly exceptional awareness and a decent finish and for all those reasons, I really rate him. What he's not, in my opinion, is a baller like O'Riley or a good technician like McGregor. He doesn't have the feet for that IMHO.

Thought he done well. Showed good strength outmuscling and running guys off the ball a couple of times I thought and just kinda kept us ticking over.
