Wasn't expecting that. Jeezo, that's a child without a Dad

Whenever I've seen him on tv, he came across a right *.

Must've been hard with fame that young but it went to his head.

If the photos are real, he clearly had a drug problem and will no doubt have accusations of abuse as his room looks *. Clearly wasn't a well man.

Feel sorry for his kid and family.

Sad, obviously his demons got the better if him. I find it strange with the time and money to get help he somehow didn't or maybe the help wasn't enough. You never know the battles people are facing though.

I generally don't think people are instinctively * heads/arseholes or whatever, I just think they need help and seemed that he did. We are not all born with the same advantages regardless of money and fame. RIP

Sad to see a young chap die. Wasn't my cup of tea but death came too early. Just don't do drugs and alcohol to excess

He did, but he also came across as an anxious guy sometimes who would clearly make things up or exaggerate in order to appear interesting.

You come across people like that sometimes and it’s sad more than anything.

Fame affects people in different ways. Loneliness seems to be quite prevalent. Irrespective of the fact that I was not a fan of his music he clearly had personal issues he found difficult to deal with.

One thing I’m certain of is if you gave me his fame and money, and everything that goes along with it, at the age he was when it kicked off- I’d be an absolute * I imagine.

and i think most people would be as well

Seen a clip of not long after they had "made it" and they were sitting in an empty Madison Square Gardens waiting on rehearsals. They looked like rabbits caught in the headlights but not to worry, as long as Cowell's pockets were well lined

Seeing these news reports saying dealers there preyed upon him as if he was some kind of victim. Pish, I'm going to guess he asked a few friendly questions to some of the staff asking for gear or whatever floated his boat and they obliged and then whatevers happened happened.
