Thought he looked like he was trying to grab the game by the scruff of the neck.

We would've won comfortably if we had more of that today.

How close was the one he got tripped to being a penalty?

At the game I thought it was in the box and thought we could be rescued here even where we took it from right outside the line must have been cm's in it.

Was funny the way it was given also, was like everyone stopped even the ref and then nobody seemed to move and just waited and then he blew the whistle and said freekick. Even Aberdeen players didn't go to clear the ball, their arses must have collapsed thinking they'd just gave away a penalty.

was outside the box for me, ref got it spot on in fairness to him. What a difference when he came on though.

He’s providing exactly what we hoped, a bright spark with the potential ability to raise his game to our level.

He’s doing himself no harm in his cameos.

Seems so comfortable when introduced, I am impressed everytime I see him, would start him midweek and run with 4 in midfield

IMO he have earned a place in the starting eleven for the next game to try and cement that place because our midfielders have not been consistent enough to be guaranteed starters.

I think he should definitely be starting against Motherwell on Sunday. This is a tough run of games we have to the next international break. If it’s Hatate and Engels starting tomorrow night Bernardo and McCowan should start on Sunday. Mix it up during the week against Dundee and go with the strongest performing combination for the cup semi final.

He is the type that likes to take games by the scruff of the neck, and that is just what we need at the moment, because our midfield is just too passive at the best of times, and McCowan gives us that energy and drive from a key area of the pitch.

I would start him in the Atalanta game in a midfield of four, as we are on a hiding to nothing in this game, and the inclusion of McCowan would give them something extra to think about, we have nothing to lose by trying a more compact and solid midfield, especially with key players still missing.

He seems to me like the type of player who if they get a starting spot they will bust a * gut each week to keep it. Looking forward to seeing more and more of him as season goes on.

By far the highest quality opposition he's played against in his career and he looked fine. Fairytale few weeks for the wee man
