Like Leeds United, Adidas and Celtic's current kit deal is due to expire in the summer of 2025 and both parties are planning to extend the agreement. Footy Headlines can exclusively leak

According to our exclusive sources, both Adidas and Celtic are keen to extend their current kit deal due to the success of their kit sales and brand recognition. However, we have no information as to how many seasons the deal will be extended for.

The current kit deal between Adidas and Celtic FC started in the 20-21 season and runs until the end of the 24-25 season.

Celtic hailed their bumper five-year agreement with adidas as "the biggest kit sponsorship ever to be announced across Scottish sport".

The partnership between Adidas and Celtic has been a huge success. In 2023, Celtic broke into the top 20 best-selling clubs' kits of the year, generating a staggering £29 million ~ €34 million in sales.

The money is good but the home kits are painful. I remember how annoyed people were with the Seville era shirt breaking the hoops and now it's every time.

Remember how mental everyone went about that, nowadays in Europe we’re not allowed to have the Hoops where the numbers/names are on the back in Europe :56:

I like the adidas ones, they’re good quality as well. Wasn’t a fan of NB, Adidas are a juggernaut of a brand in football. They’re backing us with money, they’re a good company to work with, them wanting to continue the relationship and offer us more due to it being worthwhile financially and as a brand to have us on board is one I’d like to cement for as long as we can.

I hated last season's home kit but on the whole I've really liked what Adidas have produced for us. I know kits and training gear is always going to split opinion but I'm happy this deal is being extended.

Can we go back to days of clubs being unique in their kits.

It seems through the years they've all become very conformed and templated.

I know it is hard to go unique with green and white hoops.

But in terms of away kits and third kits I would love to see something more crazy and a little mental

Haven't been a fan of their kits thus far, think only one I bought was the whiteout one.

Their structures are too cookie cutter for me (e.g., stripe up the side on every kit this season and their designs have been wide of the mark (e.g., the 'stained glass' mess of last year).

I've been reliably informed, however, that a lot of kids will buy them for the brand, so I guess I'm in the minority.

Also rumours we’re being promoted up a tier, which would mean more “original” kits instead of templates

    No idea if true though
