Couldn’t happen to a nicer, genuine big guy

 

His reaction to scoring in the unique angles video is priceless man, moments like that are that's what it's all about for me. Sometimes get a bit annoyed with football and what it's become with the way money has impacted it but class seeing stuff like that, genuinely over the moon.

 

Was thinking the same thing earlier. Was brilliant to see..

Big man deserves all the praise he's getting at the minute. Massively stepped up..

 

He'll be captain after Calmac.

 

AJ for me if he sticks around. He seems like a natural leader.

 

An encouraging aspect of current squad is the amount of leaders we have-Cal, CCV, AJ, Taylor, Bernardo and Scales, all with leadership potential.

 

CCV - yes, if he stays long term. Surprised an EPL hasn't come in for him yet, seems only a matter of time before that may happen.
AJ - see above. I think he is more likely to stay.
GT3 - can't see him being captain considering many people consider him not good enough to even be the first team LB.
Bernardo - will be moved on (for a profit) as soon as the best offer comes in.

 

I owe this man an apology if he keeps his form up, rock solid again today.

 

CCV’s injury record will stop any big moves thst could tempt him I think. He misses a lot of games every season bar his first I think.

But that’s more than worth it to us. Trusty being capable to step in when he’s not available and push Scales further on breathing down his neck for his place is really important

Hes developing very nicely. Just as solid if not our most solid defender this year. That's some praise when you have ccv in the team. I'd say we finally have a solid cb pairing. Give rodgers more money, turns out he knows what he's doing.

I notice there’s a forumite called free the adblocker. It’s been doing my head in for over a year, so I gather it’s not only me.

loved Scales from day one. Knew he’d come good. Couldn’t be happier for him.

 

He is the leader of that back 4 tonight, another one that needs to move up a level again.

 

Great to see his development over the last few years, gets better all the time.

 

No CCV, a new partner he hardly knows on one side and Greg Taylor on the other against last year's finalists. He'll need a big performance tonight IMO.
