    Nothing to fear.

Kasper masterclass and an Engels pen.

I do aye.. we can cause them problems no doubt they'll cause us more.. our defence isn't good enough at this level, even before we take CCV out of the equation.

That's the reality for me, not pessimistic..

Obviously, would love to be proved wrong, but would take a narrow defeat just now, confidence in tact knowing we brought everything to the game we could..

We need to be disciplined too and keep 11 men on the pitch.

Be ruthless with our finishing and we will hurt Dortmund. They always leak chances against anyone so I'm quietly confident about this one

Our press needs to be bang on too, can't be all out or they'll play through it, it needs to be very clever..

As much as I don't think we'll take any points for the game, we couldn't be in a better place just now and I can't wait to see how we match up.

If Scales McGregor and Trusty are composed and we break Dortmund initial press with our pace in midfield we can find joy in transitional attacks. Dortmund will play a very high line aswell.

Just don’t see why we can’t take something. Need to be on it and have supreme confidence in ourselves. Also need absolutely zero fear.

Honestly think we could get a point at least. We’re better than some realise. Will take a lot to get something but I think we’re capable

As I mentioned previously they’re a cut above. Our defence is not good enough at this level and with Trusty at RCB we have an issue, not his fault but he’s very left footed. It will cause us problems when trying to move the ball from the back quickly, he needs a touch to get it onto his left foot then pass forwards. I’d be happy with a good performance and keeping the score down, 3-1 them is my prediction but would love to be proved wrong.

Should do what we did versus Huns and let their CBs/FBs have it and then press when they try to play it forward into midfield.

Could even go man for man in midfield forcing them to go long and let Scales/Trusty dominate in the air

Don’t think this will be the line up but I’d be quite pragmatic for 60-70 mins.

    Kasper

    AJ Trusty Scales Taylor

    Engels McGregor

    Kuhn Bernardo Maeda

    Idah

Then bring Kyogo and Hatate on but both will probably start and I get why

Why would you start Idah? This is the perfect match for Kyogo. Dortmund are an attacking-minded team. Kyogo will have loads of opportunities to attack in space. His off-ball movement is his biggest strength.

Think it's certainly a possibility that Idah starts. Get the argument as to why Kyogo plays too but Idah gives us the option to go long if we are being pressed

Actually I think if we need to play long balls under pressure, then Kyogo might be the better target.
Not to hit directly and have him hold up the play, but they play a high line so a long ball over the top for Kyogo to run into space will cause them huge problems!

I can see the merit in either option though!

I've yet to see him make a save I wouldn't expect Hart or Gordon to make TBH and I've only seen a couple I wouldn't expect Bain to make. Not necessarily his fault; but I genuinely have no idea how good he still is or isn't.

I'll know this time tomorrow, though. That's for sure.

I agree with you in principle but not in terms of timing. I think we'll need 2 or 3 more windows of the same quality as the last one to even think about judging ourselves based on games against the bigger teams. If we can win the games against Young Boys and Zagreb and give Leipzig a really tough game (whichever way the result goes in that one), then that will be an incredible step forward compared with any Celtic team in Europe in the past decade except 2019 and 2016. And that's true even if all 3 of Dortmund, Atalanta and Villa bend us over.
