Maybe slightly out of reach, but this guy is the left-back I’ve wanted us to try to get for a couple of years now.
Guilherme Arana: 27 year old Brazilian at Atlético Mineiro in his homeland. He was previously at Sevilla.

Transfermarkt lists his value at around £10m (€12m), but he only moved to Mineiro for about £2m (after a year on loan for a similar fee), so I don’t quite see that.
That said he is their captain, and has made 5 appearances for Brazil this year, so might cost a bit right enough.

Annoying, because I think we could’ve had him a year or two ago.

 

David Watson and Lennon Miller got doubles today.

I'd throw our weight around in January and buy both. Loan them back to their clubs for the rest of the season.

 

Lennon Miller is an absolute must now.

I’d be watching Gueye too. If he keeps scoring he’d be a decent 3rd choice.

 

Watson's first goal was incredible skill and his second was good hard work. He is impressive.

@Belgian_lad what do you think about Adem Zorgane?

He seems to have played well over the last couple of years in Belgium.

 

Wouldn’t surprise me if both of them ended up in Italy.

 

Suggested him before, last year or just before and probably definitely out of our range now he’s broke into Croatian squad and playing CL football, especially after tonight but Martin Butarina if there’s any opportunity he’d accept a move here January, even if we’re shelling out £15m plus we absolutely need to ask the question.

Croatia have consistently produced World Class players. A lot of the time the first move they make leaving Croatia is relatively cheap for what you’re buying, and he’s the guy that in the next 10-15 years in the next generation of a Croatia team will be the guy for them.

Probably missed the chance of it now, he’ll be getting watched closely after his performance tonight but the boys going to be one of the best of the next generation of footballers coming through.

Saying him again before we face them and everyone brings his name up. What a player he is.

@Leone Naka Fan, as our resident Croat, have I just see him in games where he looks like that, because I’ve only had glimpses or would you agree here?

 

He's good, but there is a small problem: he's said somewhere that he doesn't fancy being a model pro outside of the pitch. Same as Petković.

 

He’s one I would be trying to get in, not a defensive midfielder in the traditional sense but a big physical presence with a good engine and real technical quality. He could also play instead of McGregor domestically on occasion as well as in a double pivot two deep lying midfielder type formation for Europe.

It’s surprising he is still at RSC.

 

Seen a post on Facebook about the top 10 most promising centre forwards according to CIES.

One of the names on the list was Luca Kjerrumgaard and just checked on transfer markt, he’s scored 10 goals and assisted 3 in 8 games which is unbelievable.

Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

21 year old big swede who's a handful. Plays for Hammarby..

 

Thierno Ballo..

22 year old Austrian who can play anywhere behind the striker. Quick and adding a lot of numbers. Pretty 2 footed. Direct. Can beat a man..

Was in the Chelsea academy as a wonderkid but at Wolfsberger now. Has 4 goals and 3 assists in 9 already this season. Scored in his last 2 Austria u21 games as well. Had 12 goals and 3 assists in 28 league games last year at 21..

Think he'll deffo be on our radar..

Edit: just seen he's come on and scored again to seal their u21's win away in France..

 

Was watching this late last night and think he looks phenomenal..

Sondre Orjasaeter. 20 year old winger who plays for a side 12th in a 16 team league. Has 5 goals and 5 assists in 23 in a pretty pish side..

His first touch
His close control
His skill
His vision
Weight of pass
His ability to glide by players
His composure when being boxed off by players
His acceleration

Would love someone like this who won't cost too much and would be a massive upgrade on say a Yang..

So much talent in that league. Nypan. Egeli the others that have came through recently at young ages..

 

Suggested him before when I first came across him, he looks very talented and to have real potential.

Teams in Norway and Sweden do a good job of bringing academy players into their first team and also picking up young African players and giving them minutes.

 

Aye he honestly looks the business..

Balance. Unpredictability..

Can see on those clips he should have more assists as well..

Even though it's for a weaker side, you can see he'd be very effective for us against a low block. Was loads of times in the video he was making it happen all by his self..

Hopefully one we're aware of..

 

My fear is he looks at Holm and thinks I don’t want that happening to me.

In addition, I am sure the Norweigen agent J Solbakken had a bit of a falling out with our hierarchy over the Ajer sale and that’s why Hjelde wanted out then. There was a feeling we were going back on our word and being obstructive. No idea if he represents this player but it is bound to hold us back.
