He was nothing short of superb again today and another excellent goal as well.

 

Relentless is exactly what went through my mind at one point later in the second half thinking about how good we were.

 

Wasn't sure about the kickoff time but for an away game that's a perfect start to a Saturday night. Scoreline and style of play obviously helped too.

 

Had we been 2 or 3 up the then Maeda’s goal would have stood. 0-0 and the hun VAR find a way to disallow the goal.

 

Big test now will be away to Dortmund with an atmosphere that rivals a European night at Celtic Park.

 

A lot of excellent football but the 3rd and 6th goals were fantastic.

 

Just fecking brilliant Celtic.

 

The biggest challenge in that game was picking a man of the match. To a man one of the best performances I’ve watched against an SPL team in a long time and that’s saying something, given how well we finished last year and started this year. Sensational stuff. So many players have improved under BR. He deserves a raise!

 

Buy quality and this is what we are capable of. Engles, Bernardo and Idah compliment what we have already. Just make sure we invest at the same level from now on.

 

Sensational. Every goal was sublime in some way. Even the one that was criminally ruled out. We are purring like a Ferrari right now.

Must admit, I didn't want Rodgers back and from Christmas through to Easter I vehemently wanted him gone. A few more performances like we've seen over the last few weeks and I might just change my mind.

 

What a result. That 6th goal was a thing of beauty ... got a habit of that against them.

Unlucky not to be 7 as well.

 

I think we have a potential problem in midfield. Apart from Hatate being brutal his attitude is absolutely shocking!!! Get an injury to either of the other 3 and we may have an issue in the CL.

 

Man is an absolute machine. Always say and it has to be said again, must be a * nightmare to play against. No time at all.

 

This for me. Some really beautiful football.

 

May miss Tuesdays Match ... friend in dubai has some issues with mental health and we been good friends for 20 years or so.. just got phone call and I need to see her and I think she needs to see me ... little listening and talking may help her a little . All important in this life we lead. I may show her the game from tonite .. it may help . Sometimes life fexks u up at times but it's friends that get u through them... couldn't be in feckin ayr or somewhere

 

Just play McCowan then in that case.
I wouldn't be against selling Hatate in the next window to be honest, and get another Engels type in.

I noticed a few posts about Bernardo.

Some folks saying we didn’t think he would be able to step up in place of Matt.

I thought he was great last season and we didn’t give him enough game time. He’s got skill and dig. Hatate will really need to up his game big time if he is to keep his place. He can’t live off his first five months with us. I will grant him full grace for last season as he was injured and didn’t get fully back into the groove.

Bernardo is the real deal. If we play him regularly he will blossom.
