Aye. Celtic til I die. There are some teams I prefer over others (I quite like Hamilton, it's where my Mum is from, for example) but I don't "support" another team.

As a United season ticket holder, if Celtic fans are planning on trying to get tickets in the United end, then your best bet would be for the south stand. You will almost certainly not get any bother there, it is the quietest part of the ground (which is saying something for Old Trafford what with the poor atmosphere these days). You should be ok in there.

I wouldn't recommend the Stretford End, although it is hardly thug central.

Last time there were quite a few Celtic fans around me thrown out, but mainly because they were pushing it a bit and were trying to provoke United fans.

Others, on the otherhand, were left in peace and nobody even batted an eyelid at them. It's just about how you conduct yourself really.

I think Celtic fans will be tolerated in the United end, as long as they don't go too far. For example, any Celtic fan who sings YNWA knows only too well that it will get a reaction as it is associated with Liverpool (even though Celtic sing it as well).

Not every United fan is a trouble maker looking to have a pop at Celtic supporters, many will just leave you alone. There are always some arseholes looking for it though so I would advise you to just bear in mind you are actually sat with the opposition fans.

If you can refrain from singing YNWA or IRA songs then I am pretty sure you will be absoltely fine. The modern day Old Trafford is not exactly like Millwall's old Den ground, you are more likely to get hit by a flying MUFC hotdog than a right hook.

i was in the manure end in 2006,had my jersey on and had no bother,
actually a guy standing next to me was a utd fan and he said you'll be fine once you have colours on,there will be a few of my mates travelling over and will most likely be in the united end.should have no problem

There should be plenty of spares being sold outside the ground on match day on Sir Matt Busby Way.

If you ask around outside Old Trafford I can guarantee you will get a ticket no probs.

There is a chance I may also be able to get my hands on a few spares as well, although I am not sure how many yet.

Just for the record though, I am not a tout!!! If I do get any, I would sell them at face value.

Aye, but the problem Man Utd fans have are some of the songs which have been sung in the past. Alot are English and entitled to be proud of that. That's where the problem lies.
