Falkirk are a very decent team. Impressed by them. Can see why they went so long unbeaten.

Good to see Calvin Miller is making a career for himself too.

kuhn will get all the headlines but i thought taylor really got the team going by upping the tempo ,far too slow and ponderous before the subs .today was a clear indication we need 2 wingers

Was at the game today but always felt like we would get result.

Don't judge Trusty or valle based on that today ffs.

Welsh though let's be honest only kept for homegrown rule. I would punt him January and sign any half decent Scottish player.

Palma what has happened to him since January * me. Brendan went spare.

Can't believe VAR checked the first idah goal.

Can't also believe the didn't think the big winger for Falkirk held back valle at their first goal

Weird game, were outplayed at our own tactics with a lower League team for a lot of it. Out the starters only Bernardo and Idah played well.

Ralston and Forrest seemed to hardly touch the ball and Valle and Palma were a mess, centre-backs not really tested but didn't do anything to stop anything and McGregor probably as bad as Valle and Palma. Hatate never done a lot.

Kuhn and Taylor changed the game and Engels and Yang done well.

Missed the first goal and just seen it now. Can't believe people blaming Schmeichel, Trusty or Valle. Hatate stood and watched the guy run on to the ball.

Think Bernardo, McGregor and Engels need to start the next game together. Hatate looked lacklustre all game.

Well Brendan now knows who he can bring in. I think we have about 16 he can trust and a few the jury is out on. The rest are who we need to move on and replace with another 3 players or so.

    1. Schmeichel
    2. Johnston
    3. Taylor
    4. Scales
    5. CCV
    6. McGregor
    7.Bernardo
    8. Engels
    9. Hatate (most of the time)
    10. Kuhn
    11. McCowan
    12. Maeda
    13. Kyogo
    14. Idah
    15. Ralston (if he is one of the only changes to the rest being first 11)
    16. Forrest (although I would have him similar to Ralston, in that you don’t want him to be the one carrying the team.)

Jury is still out on Trusty, Valle and Sinasalo due to lack of game time. Nawrocki is yet to prove if he can stay fit. If he could he would be our best centre back on the ball but his lack of pace is a worry. Yang it’s hard to tell.

Palma, I normally stick up for a bit but that was abysmal today. It’s time to move him on before he loses all value. Welsh’s time is up. Nawrocki too if he is below Welsh in the pecking order he should go.

Idah’s interview was telling tbh, too many of the starting 11 turned up thinking we’d steam roller them and that showed. First 60 minutes we were actually outplayed by a championship side, before we took on a few of the big hitters and they started to tire.

Thankfully Rodgers will have learnt a lot about the squad today and a few will have a lot of hard work ahead of them if they want to be trusted to be able to come in again.

To be fair on them it was too much too soon, Rodgers admitted that much.

Hopefully it won't damage their confidence too much. With hindsight it would have been better with fewer changes to allow the peripheral players to incorporate into the system easier. Hopefully we'll have other opportunities to do that.

But it was a * of a game. Fair play to Falkirk they gave a good account of themselves.

Rodgers will learn from it. I doubt we'll see that happening again anytime soon.

Lesson learned...only drip feed one or two players from the start in future.
Kuhn,Taylor,Yang and Engels changed the pace of the game.
Valle and Trusty will come good.
    Palma not for me.
    Plaudits to Falkirk.

That almost came back and bit us. Yes rest players but not that many. Should started with a stronger back 4 CV or Scales along side Trusty and Johnston at right back. We know what we get from Ralston and Welsh.

Hatate seems to have lost his way fantastic player Next game I would play Bernardo.

Palma never been a fan not good enough and not a team player.

Forrest a great servant to the club. I would not give him a new contract.

Therefor priority next couple of transfer windows must be wingers.

Funny that Falkirk's first and our 5'th goal were almost identical
