2 really good assists and 2 fantastic finishes for his goals.

Kyogo could learn a thing or 2 from him in terms of composure in 1v1s

 

Outstanding contribution today and great decision making.
Early doors I know but he has had an outstanding start to the season.

Changed the game massively in our favour. This season he's showing why all the stat guys were so excited about him before he signed.

Been absolute quality so far, just needs to keep it up now.

 

Pretty simple cup game, but I'm a big fan of giving the subs 30mins or so if play, to get into a match... Hate seeing subs brought in cold at 80-85mins

 

The turnaround in his form is crazy. Looked like a bit of a coward last season with very little about him.

Now he’s an absolute machine off the ball and every time he has the ball at his feet he looks like making something happen.

Probably been our best player so far this season.

 

Amazing today especially when ye look at the times of his assists and goals, 2mins betweens the assists and 3mins between his goals. Really taken to the wee fella.

 

Gotta say, I defended him a bit last year, because there was a fierce pile-on with fans unfairly venting their justified frustration with the board and the transfers onto the shoulders of the guys brought in. I remember doing similarly with Idah as he was getting it in the neck too.

Looking at these guys you KNEW there was potential for what you're seeing now, but they were under incredible pressure to deliver it immediately, while coming in cold onto a disgruntled and disruptive setup. It's to both of their absolute credits that they didn't reject it, haven't buckled under it and chucked it in, and both are now a credit to what was (hopefully!) excellent business. It wasn't fair, and I'm delighted they've both come through and look like they're properly and correctly integrated now, and showing their true talent.

 

Sorry Nicolas, but at least I admitted it was early days

In all seriousness though, the improvements in his game over the last 6 months have been insane, both from a physical and production perspective. He’s been immense and his application should put the likes of Palma to shame.
