The reality is quality will pay for itself more often than not. The type of player that will get was through qualifying next season.

Dare I say it, but I think we’ve actually replaced O’Riley with an all round better player. Especially for Europe.

The lad's a player and will only get better. Well done whoever scouted him.

First touch, weight of pass, way he moves with the ball. All these wee things that just show he's top level.

100% mate. Watched Liverpool and Real Madrid Tuesday night score 3 goals from corners, exactly same deliveries as Engels, into same area, with pace. Matt O'R's deliveries-when he didn't go short-were just lumped into the box with far too much air on them, just hit and hoped for the best.
Not only do we have an outstanding player on our team but finally, someone that knows how to deliver a set piece.

Not going to get carried away just yet but fk me early signs are amazing.

Been a while since we’ve had a proper big midfielder who players just bounce off. Can absolutely smash the ball. He looks a real goalthreat too.

Love the way he passes the ball, technique off the scale. Proper wraps it into feet, makes such a difference when we pass like that.

Him, Kühn and Johnston down the right is shaping up to be some combo.

Biggest thing you notice with him is his ability to find space and the calmness on the ball once he gets it.

It's a cliche but that is the sign of a quality player and someone who has been playing at a high level in Germany.

He's looking like he's gonna be something truly special.

A lot of pressure to come here with the price tag and try and take up where MOR left off... so far he's done exactly that and is looking like some * talent.

Wouldn't shock me at this rate if he ends up being top scorer for us

His shots were hard and accurate, not once did he balloon it. Once he learns to put them slightly either side of the keeper, those are in every single time.

He was sensational and from someone who was a bit underwhelmed by him at the weekend, I’m so glad he’s proven me wrong. Think he will go far.

Early days obviously, but for me he´s a 100% class act.

Pace, great control, composure, and top notch corner delivery.
I doff my hat to whoever scouted him.

    Good times ahead!

Early signs show he’s a Rolls Royce of a signing.

it’s took the club years to do something like this and it’s something we should be doing each season.
