He's had his knockers this season. Me included, he came back overweight and didnt really look the same player (apart from the Southampton game IMO).

Im sat watchin a re-run of the OF game last year, the 2-1 game.
His touch is awful lol. But he is bustling about being a pest and gettin involved in the play. He knows how to use his body to draw free-kicks from bigger defenders. In that sense, he is a very clever player.

He's a moany wee * but he never gives defenders a moments peace and winds them right up. That and his goals make him well worth the £700,000.

I cant wait to get that player back from injury.

Agreed with everything you've said really, his first touch is woeful and could be doing with being improved but he's a goalscorer and he'll always score goals!

Added bonus is he gives you the work rate as well which more conventional strikers don't tend to.

I was going insane for a couple of weeks, I thought I was the only one that had faith in the wee fella. All this critisicm and being sidelined will make him come back stronger.

I didnt think i was gettin on his back at all. The reason i posted was to do quite the opposite in fact, get behind him. I thought that was obvious?

Lets get behind the wee man! aye i have knocked him for his wieght, but only because i love the wee guy! i want him to be back in shape, he was our best striker last season, and he does have alot in common with BBJ Hartson! the guy is a natural goalscorer and uses his body well.

lets hope he gets rest, looses a few pounds and returns and scores a hatrick!

    Hail Hail!
