I think that the way they played in first half was to tire them out and then hammer them in second half which worked.

    Superb stuff...

Granted, Bratislava weren't up to much but thought we were excellent. Great start to the CL.

Apart from losing the clean sheet, that could not have gone better. 5-1 comfortable - and in fairness we should've been out of sight in the first half instead of just being 1-0 up at the break, against a team that we were always favourites for, just a clear level in class above.

There will be much, much more difficult challenges that lie ahead, but right now, that was a night to remember.

Good euro kick start against an admittedly poor side.

Very disappointed to concede that goal, but some of our patient build up play was superb.

Delighted for Kyogo amd idah to open their CL accounts, Kuhn getting better game by game, and Engels just oozes quality.

    Good night all around.

Have to take that BELIEF with us to Dortmund, try to have teams start fear us once again.

Dortmund will be a big one to see how far we’ve came from last few seasons, a lot of brilliant football tonight but also plenty to still improve on.

Great game. Really enjoyed it. Couple scares defensively which against teams like dortmund etc can be punished but all in all controlled it and played well. Some really good attacking football. Engels motm. Boy was shattered at the end.

They can't afford squandered chances against better sides like Dortmund. Let's hope they're sharper going forward (pun intended). Hh.
