Kyogo's finishing has been poor but it's also really frustrating (I'd imagine even more so for him) to see him make the same run 4 times in a row before a player finally plays it to him at the wrong time. He makes world class runs and we're still not great at finding them.

* annoying. Capable of scintillating stuff but not pulling it off. Should be at least 3 up, players guilty of not picking the right pass and obviously nowhere near clinical enough.

Big improvement needed second half, we're capable of so much better.

Wish we bought another winger in the Summer. Maeda is not having a good game from an attacking sense, but seeing Palma's name come up on the board just doesn't inspire any confidence. Options at RW aren't much better either.

 

We might get away with these wasted chances if we get a second tonight. Against the better teams, you might only get one or two.

I remember first time round Rodgers said the team need to stop being embarrassed or surprised to go a few goals up in Europe. He’s bang on, you can see it’s in our heads a bit that we should be scoring so freely.

Happy with that, bit loose up front, that's to be expected with the nerves, 1st game, fans ect. If they come out and focus and choose right in the final 3rd, we will batter them. Give kyogo 15 and bring on idah, khun off for forrest to give us that experience and just be professional. Let's build on this and gain experience. Hatate stand out for me for his passing. We are all over the pitch switching channels trying to break them down. As long as we hold our nerve and keep it disciplined we should be fine. Engels is useful, we need him to keep it up

 

I call him out when he is missing, but he's created decent chances for Kyogo and Greg Taylor of all people.
