Theres nothing better than homegrown players coming through the ranks Tierney, Forrest recently they have a unique bond with the fans and I understand parents are proud of their kids i get that,

But these kids have done nothing in the game yet and I feel sometimes they get too much praise too soon. Brendan talked about it a few years back, Remember him saying something along the lines of "your not a celtic footballer until you've played over so many 1st team games.

Best of luck to these bhoys but parents pump the brakes.

 

Sctoland lucky to have him lol. Good on the wee fella hope he kicks on and has a good career here.

Anyone see that Scottish Vincent angelini keeper who’s just moved to Saudi? Wasnt he in our youths at one point?

 

I would like to say I have been following this lads career for 5 years and he's going to be a star, but this is the first I have heard of him.

 

Did he play much after leaving us before getting a move out there?

Pretty sure his dad is his agent. Was involved in takeover at Livingston bout 10 - 15 years ago.

Talking about goalkeepers , Josh Clarke is doing well at ayr . Quite like the look of him , hope he comes back and can push sinasalo next season

Aye, fair chance top level academy players from UK are still better than their own homegrown players and despite their money there's no way it's sustainable long term to be paying guys 400k a week
