Daizen Maeda

I hope your right mate but I'm already starting to worry thatvither teams are becoming aware of his unique talents.

He's phenomenal. The work he puts in and distance he covers for Mcgregors goal is absolutely unreal

 

Ye know something, I don't even give a * anymore if his technique is pretty pish.

He is a nightmare to play against and pops up with goals and assists at the right moments.

Honestly think we're gonna see him terrorize teams in the CL this year, and would have him in my team ahead of the likes Jota no problem!

 

For me he's been a completely different player under BR, hes improved loads, just my opinion. First name on the team sheet at the moment.. absolute machine

 

I actually agree with this though. His wild moments are a bit less frequent now.

Crystal Palace star hails 'brilliant relationship' with Daizen Maeda

Crystal Palace star Daichi Kamada reckons he has established a telepathic partnership with Celtic ace Daizen Maeda... on and off the pitch



Maeda was one of Celtic's heroes on Sunday as they cruised to another Old Firm victory after he opened the scoring at Parkhead.

He is currently preparing for Japan's crucial World Cup double-header qualifiers against China and Bahrain this week, along with Hoops colleague Reo Hatate.

Fellow Old Firm hero Kyogo Furuhashi wasn't called up again

Maeda is likely to start today's game in Saitama with Palace ace Kamada and the former Eintracht Frankfurt and Lazio star was full of praise for Maeda.

He said: "The player I would hate to face in a game is Daizen Maeda because I don't like coming up against players who run a lot.

"We have a brilliant relationship on and off the pitch. We sit together on the bus, we eat dinner, lunch, and breakfast together. We always go to the sauna together.

He even fetches me sweets and coffee even when I haven't asked for them!

"Daizen is the type of person that everyone loves.

"I remember when he first came into the Japan team and he wasn't really interacting with anyone. But I started talking to him, we became friends and hit it off.

"And we have taken that relationship onto the pitch too which is good for Japan. He has been in excellent form too."

I honestly love the guy more and more each game. He’s nowhere near as bad technically as some folk make out, and he’s an absolute monster physically.

Seems like a great guy too which is awesome.

The way the bad technique seems to manifest itself now is by way of one or two comedy crosses a game. Considering everything else he offers, I can live with that.

In fact, in a weird way I've found myself looking out for those moments and almost enjoying them. When he skies a cross from the byline out for a throw on the other side it's like, 'yep, that's our boy Daizen'

Plus on a serious note, that's why he's still at the club. If he had Kyogo's technique added to the physical impact he already has on a game, he'd definitely be playing in a better league by now.

And the idiots put him on the bench. I would go as far as maeda, reo and kyogo are 3 of the best japan have. Pep want kyogo ffs
