Disagree entirely, Kyogo is the better all-round player and has given us more special moments of brilliance. He will score more goals in the Champions League this season.

If Kyogo went to Palace I'd expect him to score 12+ a season. Edouard didn't reach double figures in any of his 3 years, 6-8 is a poor return. Palace fans were delighted to get rid of him.

 

Just always trust him to score in these games. 3 the of last goals hes scored against them have been belters.

 

How many has he scored against them now? His record against them must be up there...

No it isn’t, especially Kyogo’s finishing. He misses a lot of chances. Movement is the one I’d give you.

I love Kyogo but he’s not a better footballer than Edouard. There’s a reason one got to play in the EPL and Kyogo never will.

 

Deadly serious. Edoaurd is easily the best since Henrik. I rate Dembele higher than Kyogo too.

Kyogo won’t get a move to the EPL so that prediction will remain hypothetical. But today is a day for celebration.

Victim of his country of birth?

His movement to find space, run at goal, ability to get a touch running in gk area and steal a goal are of serious quality that I don't think we've seen for decades.

If Kyogo played exactly like this but was born anywhere in Europe, he'd never be a Celtic player. He'd have easily been snapped up and more recognised as a household name. Probably cutting up a decent career in Spain.

Eddie I will say had more about him on the ball, our 3-2 win when a man down is probably the single best highlight of that, but with everything else that makes a footballer he is way too inconsistent, there were plenty of times in here Eddie was getting lambasted for having the first touch of a semi pro player.

 

I mean Ange is a manager in the EPL and Kyogo is the absolutely perfect fit for his system, and he doesn’t want him. So I don’t think country of birth comes into it, especially not in a league like the EPL where you have players from every continent.

Don’t think I ever saw Edouard have the touch of a semi-pro, nor do I remember criticism along those lines.

 

I'd rate Kyogo higher, but Edouard gets a lot of unnecessary stick from our fans.

Guy stayed with us 4 seasons, which is 2 seasons longer than our best players tend to stay for, and still had an excellent season before he left, and we got a really good fee for him too.

As for Kyogo, he was excellent today and absolutely terrorised them, I love him so much man.

I think at the best of times there’s a snobbery from the EPL. Never mind trying to convince Levy to part with cash for a 29yo forward playing in the SPFL
