The guy will still be a hero, after he retires.

Nothing crazy about it, I don’t even think it’s up for debate. Larsson is maybe the only player the Hun squad has been more scared of in the last couple of decades.

Maeda is just a different breed, will never get the credit he deserves because he will never be a flashy Brazilian name like Vinicius Jr or the likes.

But his engine, his ability to keep running like that I don't think I've seen at Celtic and I don't think I've seen in the wider sport since maybe the peak hype over the stamina of Essien.

At this rate I could see Rodgers having a serious issue as to who should be used as ST because I've faith Idah will come good as well and the we'll have Maeda, Kyogo and Idah all deep into double figure numbers for just goals

His blood flows that fast, he’d pass it even with a full cycle of PEDs

His speed is just incredible, it never fails to impress me even after watching him a hundred times. Thought today was one of his better games as well.

Tavernier is beaten by Maeda before he even gets on the park these days the guy's been so traumatised by how easily he's destroyed him match after match.

He’s literally our Ace for the Champions League. He’s the one player in our team that can separate us from the pack in Europe. That level of energy and pressing is a real equalising trait for when we face the better sides. So lucky to have this guy. I hope he retires here.

I've been a harsh critic over his time here but since he grew his hair oot he's been great and even more consistent in terms of his ability on the ball.

Will always have his moments of frustration but I've come to accept that if he didn't he wouldn't be here.

I'd argue he's one of the very top pressing footballers in the world. Can't think of anyone who is as good at that part of the game. That's always been undeniable.

I like a player or two like that. Lenny's CL last 16 team had guys like Sammy, Forster and Vic that had massive flaws to their game, but were world class at certain aspects. A couple of guys like that allow the coach to create a team that is more than the sum of its parts .
