I'm confused haven't we used all our loans out? See iwata and nawrocki mentioned.

Apparently domestic loans don’t count so Kwon to Hibs would not count.

    We have

    - Bernabei
    - Lagerbielke
    - Kenny
    - Tilio

So would have two spots left, there is also talk Iwata may be a permanent sale.

If Ange were around, I think Iwata would have been a regular starter last season in place of either Mooy who retired or Hatate who lost plenty of games due to injury. Even O'Riley was occasionaly dropped by Ange cause he was a questionalbe fit in his system.

Everything changed for Iwata as soon as we hired BR. In a vacuum, I like Iwata's game a lot. Since BR is the manager, I think we should restructure the squad to fit his needs. By the way, this also includes Kyogo. I love his game, but I believe we'd be better off with a more physical striker.

Regardless of what BR thinks he needs, going into most of our CL games with McGregor as the DM is unwise. And all we got from DM-s were rumors.

Domestic loans count. Here are the rules.

    • Who’s exempt?

Players aged 21 and younger and club-trained players (those who have spent three seasons with their current club between ages of 15 and 21) can be loaned outside of the limit, but both conditions must be met. For example, a 22-year-old club trained player and a 20-year-old foreign player who has only been with the club two years would each take up one of those eight* spots.

*this is from the 2022-23 season. The limit gradually dropped to 6.

Brown wasn’t great till rodgers came in really was decent under Lennon ovb but mowbrary tried to get out the door
I’m in no way saying he’s better than brown my argument is brown got plenty of game time and chance to evolve

Iwata is by far a far better dm than someone like soro

Makes sense if we get Engels in. I heard that Rodgers is planning, now that Valle is here as well, to let Iwata go and use Taylor as back up for LB and CDM.

And by heard I mean completely made up.

Agreed I think he is a solid squad player for us so he would do really well playing in the third tier especially for a team that you would imagine would be the favourites to win the division.

Think he'd smash it down there if he's playing consistently.

    * this unless we are bringing in a DM. He was solid playing there the majority of the time last year.

Brown was class for years when we first got him from hibs. He was also a much better player than Iwata will ever be….. not sure what soro has to do with what I said mate :BR1:

Btw I actually think Iwata is a decent player. Just not good enough to be a starter for us

That's disappointing, but I can understand he will want to play . Perhaps Mccowan will be happier sitting on the bench or not even making match day squads. Would pick iwata over him every day of the week

Didn’t realise Chris Davies was the manager down there, signings all make sense now. Iwata will stroll that league and be snapped up in no time

Any word on whether it's a permanent deal or a loan?
